Brittney and I made some cards and worked on projects today and had a great time. Here are two of the cards she made. I really love the Thank You card! It's hard to tell but there is glitter pen used on random leaves on the tree and really adds a nice sparkle to it.

The stamp sets used are Thoughts and Prayers, Because I Care and Just Jawing (card #3 below)
Here's the card I couldn't post before since it was for a friend's birthday!

I saw this on Splitcoast Stampers and just had to give it a try! I love using the Modern Label punch as a fence post. Need to work on my clouds though to make them a little softer.

Cardstock used: Wild Wasabi, Whisper White, Early Expresso and Regal Rose.
Ink: Marina Mist, Old Olive and Chocolate Chip.
Punch: Modern Label
Stamp Set: Teeny Tiny Wishes.
I think I'll go make another with the other half of my Wild Wasabi!

Donna

Awesome Ink, Refill and Pen Storage

I found this on ebay to hold all my inks, refills and pens in one place. With the SU! colors changing up a bit, I needed enough room to hold all my colors (old and new) that I'll be adding to my collection. I knew it was going to be big, but when it arrived, I was stunned! Here it is sitting next to the cat to give you a perspective on it's size! Holy Moly!
It's all hand made from pine and is heavy as can be! It has a turntable on the bottom so it spins easily for access to all four sides. The slats are removable so taller things can be put in the spaces as well.
As you can see, there are a lot of open spaces, but they'll all filll in soon! Never in a million years would I have pictured myself so in love with stamping and cardmaking, but here I am!
Have a great day!
Hugs,
Donna

Chicks and Chocolate

Once a month, my Team Leader has a "Chicks and Chocolate" class where we learn something new and make fun projects with the new technique.

Isn't this just the CUTEST idea!!? It's a coffee bag (gift bag) and inside is a gift card holder, all stained with "coffee" stains. I just love the coffee beans!! They look like real beans. The project was so easy to do - a tad messy, but hey, that's what stamping and crafting are all about, stained fingers and glitter all over the place.

This was our Technique Idea card we made last night with the cards below using the technique ~ this is the project that added sparkle to our hair, face, clothes, everything!

The stamp set is a "sneak peek" into the future of stamping. More details later!

Team Meeting Swap

I went to my first Team Meeting last Sunday and participated in my first swap. We each made a card and a 3-D project. I only wish I knew who made what - besides mine of course! I do know that Rebecca made the awesome Ornament Punch Flower.

Here are my two entries:

This card uses Sweet Scoops stamp set from the Summer Mini Catalog.
This one is a gift card holder. The purple strip pulls up the gift card that is inside the sleeve:

Rebecca's Ornament Punch Flower - except this one I made, hers is at my office on my desk. :)

My First Swap Items

Well, it's been a LONG busy week at work, so not much time for creating or enjoying my Starter Kit, but I have had a great time this afternoon and evening making cards and a giftcard holder for a swap tomorrow with my SU! group. Here is what I came up with.

The colors don't come out too well on here it seems, but they came out pretty well I think and look great in person.

Stamp sets used: Sweet Scoops and Oval All.

Thank you for looking! Watch for updates as time allows.

Meet Your New Stampin' Up Demonstrator!

Well, I did it!!! I'm all signed up and waiting for my starter kit. I could barely sleep last night for all the excitement of waking up early this morning to get signed up.

I even have my very first order... from none other than my BFF Danita!! Thank You BFF!! So, now I have a lot of surfing to do on the demonstrators pages to figure out what in the world I'm doing... lol.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Hugs,
Donna
