Stamps Well With Others Guest Stamper - Linda Weedon

On Friday night before Stamp-a-Stack began, Linda came by early to play with some of the new papers and tools and ended up creating this awesome card.  I think it came out beautifully!

She used the Early Espresso Core'dinations Card Stock from the Holiday Mini Catalog - I sure hope that shows up in the next Annual Catalog!  Everything else is current Stampin' Up! products.

After using the Honeycomb Textured Impressions Embossing folder with the Early Espresso Core'dinations paper she gently, and I mean very very gently, sanded it with the Stampin' Sanding System to rough up the top just a bit.  Because of the type of paper, it doesn't take very much to rough it up because simply running it through the folder gives it a bit of a distressed look without any sanding.

Linda's Recipe:

Stamp Set:  Made for You (w-126340 / c-126342)
Ink:  Early Espresso, Calypso Coral (for sponging)
Card Stock:  So Saffron, Very Vanilla, Early Espresso Core'dinations
DSP:  Tea for Two Designer Series Paper (129311)
Tools:  Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine (113439), Honeycomb Embossing Folder (129378 - Spring Mini), Stampin' Sanding Block (129367), Apothecary Accents Framelits (127003), 3/16" Metallic Brads (119741), Sponge Daubers (102892)

Thank you Linda!  You did an amazing job with this - love the original creations!

Have a great day everyone!

~ Donna

  1. Love it, Linda! I need to use the embossing more on my own cards. Thanks for the inspiration!
