Best of Shelli - Birthday

I saw the basic concept for this on Too Cool Stamping by Angie Leach.  I changed it up a bit with a different framelit set and a different birthday stamp.

Here's the details:

  • Begin with Whisper White - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" and score at 4 1/4".
  • Cut a piece of 2013 - 2015 In Color Designer Series Paper Stacks (130136) - 5 1/4" x 4", I used Crisp Cantaloupe.
  • Using the Fancy Fan embossing folder (127751) and emboss a piece of Strawberry Slush cut at 1 1/2" x 4".
  • Using Black StazOn ink pad, stamp the birthday packages from the "Best of Shelli" Collector stamp set (133488) multiple times on selected papers from the same DSP.
  • Cut the packages out with your Paper Snips (103579).
  • Stamp the packages one more time on a piece of Whisper White paper approximately 4 1/2" x 4" - size doesn't matter as you will be die cutting this out.  Just be sure it's big enough for the die you use.
  • Using the Labels Collection Framelits (125598) cut out the image you just stamped.  Keep the packages at the top of the framelit.
  • Piece together the packages that you cut out of the DSP.  You'll notice there's only 3 gifts on the stamp, so pick the middle one and add it to the bottom of the stack to make more gifts.
  • Stamp your greeting under the packages with Coastal Cabana.  I used Itty Bitty Banners (w-132022 / c-126257).
  • Sponge the edge with Coastal Cabana.
  • Attach the Strawberry Slush to the Crisp Cantaloupe.
  • Attach a piece of Strawberry Slush 3/8" Ruffle Stretch Trim to the Whisper White Die Cut piece.
  • Pop up the Die Cut piece with Stampin' Dimensionals (104430).
Very Pretty!!  Try mixing it up with other colors and papers from the In Color Collection.  You'll have  great variety of cards to have on hand for birthdays and special occasions.

Thanks for looking in today!

Happy Friday!
