Recover Rapidly

Here is an adorable card by Lorri Heiling, my Sweet Upline, that she made for our swaps on Monday night. I loved this card so much that I just had to make a couple for my two girls in my downline who are both sick this week.  This was such an adorable card and yet, so simple to make.  I made four of them while watching t.v Tuesday night!

I changed the colors around to make them more girly for the girls, I hope they like pinks.  LOL.  Lorri's card would easily be a more masculine get well.  We all know how hard it is to make the right cards for the "boys"!.

Thanks Lorri for a great team meeting on Monday and for the great card to CASE.

Lorri's card stock choices were Chocolate Chip, Cherry Cobbler and Crumb Cake (all C's!).  I'm going to guess the ink was Chocolate Chip as well (help me out here Lorri) or it was Early Espresso.  I think my ink pad was much wetter because my "dots" on the band-aids aren't as clear.  Lorri's looks much better!

Below is my card using Rose Red, Regal Rose and Sahara Sand.  Also Whisper White for the "band aids".  The ink is also Rose Red.  Rhinestones were used to dress up the card with a bit of bling.

The Stamp set is from Sale-A-Bration called Patterned Occasions (w-129621 / c-129624).  I think the only stamp I didn't show you earlier as I was making a card each night from this set.  I promise to move on to another set for my next post!

I see a Stamp-A-Stack coming with this card!!

Thanks for looking in and have a great Hump-Day!  Half-way through the week when this day is done!  Yay!

3-D Swap With the weSTAMP Team!

Well, here it is, my first Swap with my new Upline "weSTAMP".  Our theme this month was to do something from the Spring Mini Catalog and/or Sale-A-Bration, so here's mine.  I have to say, I'm really proud of myself for getting these done EARLY.  Before I would always put it off and be stressed.  This one was mostly done a week ago, but had to wait for my pretty flowers to come in so I could ink and attach them.  What do you think?  I found this on Qbee's Quest.  This woman is amazing with the things she makes and she's always so generous with sharing all the details.  Thank you Brenda!  You are Awesome!

Mini Thanks a Ton

These cute little Thank You's were made to slip into my recent workshop orders.  Don't tell the girls though, I want them to be a surprise... ha ha.  They should receive their bags of goodies before they see this post though (except for Linda!) so I should be safe.  Besides, it's what is written inside each one that makes each card special.

Make a Wish Window Card

I spotted this card on Angie Leach's blog and fell instantly in love.  It was designed by Darla, from her downline.  I tried to do different colors, but these colors were just so perfect together, I had to just CASE it!

I just love this stamp set - called "Make a Wish" from the Spring Mini Catalog and especially love this particular stamp.  It looks extra nice with direct ink to stamp coloring and stamping.  This set was a gift from my Sweet Upline, Lorri Heiling when I joined her weSTAMP Team in December.  Thank you Lorri!!!

The first one here was my first attempt which didn't turn out how I wanted.  I forgot to take the ribbon into consideration when I cut the Whisper White card stock, so I made it again with a wider cut and also changed the little greeting in the window.

Here is the inside so you can see how the punch works with the background paper.

To line up the punch on the front of the card, first punch out three pieces from a post it note on the sticky part.  This way you can line them up so you see where to punch.  Then line up your punch - upside down so you can see the post-it and then punch it out.

Happy Birthday Cupcake!

Here's another stamp from the adorable Patterned Occasions set from Sale-A-Bration as well as another look at the pretty Sycamore Street DSP also in the Sale-A-Bration brochure.

I colored the cupcake with Stampin' Markers so I could have some variety on the stamp.  This one has Primrose Petals for the cupcake, Daffodil Delight on the frosting, Island Indigo on the candle and Raspberry Ripple for the heart.

The card stock behind the cupcake and the DSP is Island Indigo.  Did you notice I only have the card stock on two sides of the DSP?  I thought I'd try something new and I like it.  What do you think?

DSP:  Sycamore Street (127540)*
Extras:  1 3/4" Circle Punch (119850), Word Window (119857), Modern Label (119849) and (oops... a non-su punch - 2" Scallop Circle)  I was thinking the scallop was too small when I put it together, it was supposed to be the 2 3/8" Scallop (118874), Dimensionals (104430)

Hope you had a great week!  Happy Weekend~

A Whole Latte Love for You

Valentine's and Sale-A-Bration makes a nice combination for today's card.  Probably a good card to post since today is mine and hubby's anniversary.  Guess I should plan to give it to him huh?

This card uses a combination of Sale-A-Bration and the new Spring Mini Catalog.  I have to say, I would never thought of putting any shades of blue in for Valentine's, but Pool Party really looks nice in this combination.

If you click on the picture, it should open in a new window and you'll be able to see some of the detail a bit better.  The Primrose Petals card stock behind the cup is actually Core'dinations Card Stock from page 12 in the Spring Mini.  While I didn't distress or sand it at all, I thought it looked nice with the texture it has.  You'll also see that the cup has been stamped twice - once in Pool Party and once in Primrose Petals and then fussy cut and raised up with a Dimensional.

After making today's card, I seriously hope that Stampin' Up! comes up with a "honeycomb" punch!  Actually, it wasn't so bad with easy straight cuts, but oh boy, I'd love a punch to do it faster!

Today's card is a case from Mary Fish with a few little changes in stamps and paper choices.  I really LOVE how it turned out.
