Caramel Apple Time

My apologies for not blogging the last couple of days.  The evenings were just too short and my list of things to do were too long!  Isn't that always the way?

But now... I can share this great little project with you.  I first made this at one of our Team Meetings with my upline and just knew we would be making this at our October workshop.

Is this adorable or what???  This is so very simple to make using the Curvy Keepsake Box Thinlits (135853).  The stamp set used is You're So Sweet, stamped with Real Red and cut out with the 2 1/2" Circle Punch.

Here is what you need to make this little gem.  Cut two full pieces of the Curvy Keepsake in Real Red card stock.  Then cut two top pieces of each top (see picture below) so that you have two of the rounded top and two of the more pointed top from Delightful Dijon card stock.

You only need the tops of the Delightful Dijon because you will be making that the "drippy gooey" caramel.  Simply make a template, or even free hand it.  That's how I made the templates, so I'm sure you can do the same!

These wonderful sweet treats are what we put inside.  Caramel Apple taffy from Sprouts.  Thank you Lorri for telling me where to find the delights!

Simply trace and cut out the Delightful Dijon and attach to the Real Red with liquid glue and then assemble the Curvy Keepsake Box as usual.  Add your treat inside close it up and add a wooden stick.

Place inside a plastic bag and tie your sentiment on with Delightful Dijon 1" Dotted Lace Trim.

Thank you for looking in today.

    1. Thank you Lorri for the great project! This was so much fun and the girls loved it at our workshop on Saturday!

I didn't have the same tag you had when we made them, so I found one that would work! Yayy!
