Swirly Scribbles In (Living) Color

When I saw these great Swirly Scribble Thinlits, I fell in love with them.  Then with our new In Colors, I thought it would be a good way to show them both off together.

Each card has all five of the new In Color paper.  If you only see four of the five, look closer, the fifth one is the mat!  Ta-Da!

Recipe:
Whisper White Thick Cardstock - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
In color Mat - 5 1/4" x 4"
Whisper White - 5" x 3 3/4"
In color Swirly Scribbles - one of each shape and color.

Stamp Set:  B.Y.O.P.

I've actually seen a couple of other cards using the Swirly's, but I noticed they were just laying on top of each other.  I decided it was more fun to weave them together a bit.  It made it a little harder to put adhesive on the back, but it was well worth the sticky fingers!

This one is an "oops" but since I worked 5:30 a.m. to midnight on Tuesday, I'm just too tired to do it over and be able to post. So, pretend like it is filled in ever so beautifully!  :)  Thanks!

Here's a quick look of all of them together.  I think they are really pretty and they can be used for just about anything.

Thank you for looking in today.  Happy Thursday!

  1. I like to think that these are the adult version of scribbling! Looks like you were given paper and a new box of crayons and went to town! Love it! The weaving adds a new dimension to them too. Such fun. I sure hope you were compensated for the extra hours you worked. If that was your only good after that long of time you are doing really good. It took me a minute to see what you were talking about with filling it in. Such a fun and clever way of introducing the new colors!

  2. Not much better than a new box of crayons and fresh paper! Well, except maybe a new package of In-Color cardstock and fun Swirly Scribbles!

Thankfully I earn overtime for my long hours, so it makes it a bit more bearable. I love what I do, so that helps even more!

  3. I agree with both parts! Maybe some new inks or markers too would be good. Hope you get a bit of a rest this weekend.
