Beautiful You Paper Piecing

I spotted this great idea done by Diana Gibbs and had to play with it.  I changed up the colors and made the skirt and blouse from different papers and then tried with her colors (bottom two pictures) but still with different patterns for the clothing.

They really came out cute and what  great use of some of our beautiful Designer Series Papers..

Simply stamp the image on your Whisper White cardstock and then again onto the Designer Series Paper of choice.  Each one used here is the front and back from the same paper, so very easy to match up.  Snip out the skirt and the blouse and carefully piece them together onto the stamped image.

I used my Watercolor Pencils (available January 4th!) and a Blender Pen.

Thank you for looking in today!  Happy Friday!

  1. These are fun and I like the paper piecing. Both of the color schemes are really good. I had to smile though with the ones on the tilt she reminds me of skate boarding and that she was going to take a tumble. As a dancer, why didn't I look that good?

I got out some of my watercolor pencils I had and used them on the bear with the sweater on and I paper pieced some of them too (his sweater).
