Building My Stash

Working on my birthday card stash some more today.  While this may look the same as yesterday's cards, if you look closely, the measurements are different for the DSP on the left especially.

Did you notice the fun party hat?  Cute  Party Animal Embellishments come in a party hat and a balloon.  So fun!

Recipe:

Tangerine Tango - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Whisper White - 5 1/4" x 4"
Party Animal Designer Series Paper - 5" x 2 1/2"
Crumb Cake - 3 1/2" x 2 1/2" (2nd card - Emerald Envy)
Whisper White - cut with the largest circle from Stitched Shapes

Notice that the DSP is not flush with the Whisper White like yesterday's card, so move it in a bit from the side and center it between the top and bottom.

I stamped the outside with Pacific Point and inside with Emerald Envy.  Both colors coordinate with the DSP colors.

To make the fun candles inside, I used the new Candle Border Punch!

Thank you for looking in today!  Have a Blessed Sunday!

  1. Another group of fun birthday cards. Look at that cute little party hat trinket! I admit I like the happy polka dotted card the best - I don't want to even think about counting all the candles for me! Just kidding I really like both. I haven't seen anybody use the candle punch - that is a fun element too. I wonder what else someone will come up with to use that punch for besides the obvious! I really like the stitched panels too - just adds a perfect little touch without any extra bulk or anything except running it through the Big Shot. I am so jealous - I keep saying I will make a bunch of cards to have on hand but then I get side track and don't do it.
