So Detailed Thinlits

Have you ordered your So In Love Bundle yet with the So Detailed Thinlits Dies?  If not, what are you waiting for?  These dies make such beautiful cards and they are so easy too!

Recipe:

Rose Red - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Whisper White - 5 1/2" x 1 1/4" (for the sentiment)
Whisper White - 5 1/2" x 2 3/4" (for the die cut)
Whisper White - 5 1/4" x 4" (for inside)

Stamps:  So In Love (Bundle with So Detailed Thinlits)
Stamps:  Thankful Thoughts

When you make the diecut, you will have about 1/4" under the flowers themselves.  Do NOT cut that off, you will need it to attach it to the 1 1/4" strip.  Simply use your favorite adhesive and attach them together.  Wrap ribbon around and tie it off with a knot or a bow.

Then to attach the whole thing to the card, the best way, for me, is to gently dab some multipurpose liquid glue around the edges of the flowers and here and there along some of the other cuts.  Let it sit for a few minutes so the glue isn't so wet and turns a little tacky.  This will keep the glue from oozing out around the edges and will stick beautifully to your card.

When stamping the flowers inside, lay your cardstock on a scrap piece of copy paper and stamp the center flower first, stamping it off the edge, just a bit.  Then ink and stamp again at the top and then the bottom.

Think how pretty this would be in other colors as well.  Rose Red just happens to be one of my favorite ones.

Thank you for looking in today.  Remember, if you want to order anything you see here, just click on any of the items below from the list and you'll be taken to my store directly.

Happy Hump Day!

  1. What am I waiting for on ordering the framelits - money, the root of all evil! They are nice but a bit too fussy for me maybe.

Love your card though - so bright and cheery and the inside is such a great follow through to the front. That ribbon is pretty too on there. That touch of gold adds a little touch of glow. That font is really great. Other colors will be good but I like the bright pop of red!
