At Christmas and Always

TODAY is the last day to order with the November Hostess Code YEGH6PTW and receive a free pack of bling from me!  Spend $50.00 (before shipping and tax) and I'll send you your free gift.

As I'm still trying to get over this ridiculous cough I wanted to make a Quick and Easy card for today.  This was really quick!

Notice the base and mat are swapped on the two cards below.

Recipe:

Base - Garden Green / Cherry Cobbler - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Mat - Cherry Cobbler / Garden Green - 5 1/4" x 4"
Be Merry Designer Series Paper - 5" x 3 3/4"

Inside:  Whisper White 5 1/4" x 4"

Stamps:  Ready for Christmas
Ink:  Garden Green / Cherry Cobbler

Stitched Shapes Framelits
Layering Ovals Framelits
Real Red 1/8" Solid Ribbon

Attach the Designer Series Paper to the Mat and then wrap a 16" piece of ribbon around those two layers.  I used scotch tape to attach the ribbon to the back of the cardstock.

Then attach those two layers to the card base.

  1. Oh how fun and I am not sure which mat vs card color I like best - both are great! I love the sentiment and inside. Of course I don't have that set so will have to focus on something else but I have a new pack of that paper so I can make some of these cards. I really like the little trees on it. Of course you used my favorite stitched framelits - I love these!

    1. I'm with you Chris, I can't decide which I like best either. You can use any stamp sets I think and even change up the paper to be Birthday or Halloween - whatever you like to go with what you need. I love the Stitched Shapes as well. Just the perfect touch.
