The heat kills them off sometimes, but I replace them and keep trying!Donnahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13237521583855767710noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8771540122568578753.post-73901936654719755012017-05-07T10:36:41.147-07:002017-05-07T10:36:41.147-07:00Mike still buys me flowers. We would give each other a rose bush for our birthdays etc. He grew them and I picked them! It worked for me!

ChrisAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8771540122568578753.post-6174391231958219132017-05-06T17:54:36.143-07:002017-05-06T17:54:36.143-07:00OH yes, Happy Flowers for sure! I think it was.

I forgot about the Tulip Festival. That is another of my favorite flowers. I think I probably like a LOT of flowers actually, so I'm not picky! LOL Now if I could just get the hubbers to send me some. Funny how when you date a guy, he sends flowers or surprises, get married and you buy your own. LOL

Tell Ted he can relax now. The flower friends are disbursing.Donnahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13237521583855767710noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8771540122568578753.post-45757468265609963592017-05-06T17:15:46.775-07:002017-05-06T17:15:46.775-07:00I always think of daisies as happy flowers. Mike planted something that is related to a daisy but it is a really bright red color. I hope they come up again this year. Last year the crab apple tree broke off a huge limb and landed on them destroying them. I love using punches too. A felt circle for the center will be fun to try for a bit of texture. Who knows I might get really industrious and take the center circle and embroider a bunch of little French knots on there for more texture! Anyway, the tulip festival is almost over. The last night time parade is at 8:30 and then basically that wraps it up! Poor Ted has been a nervous wreck with all the extra thousands of people and all the noise.

Chris R. from IowaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
