LOL I think the staples would be especially helpful if you did want to put a teabag in, it would certainly not pull loose with the thicker insert.

I held back on getting this punch as well, and now I wish I'd picked it up sooner. Like you, I love the inside look!

Thanks again!Donnahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13237521583855767710noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8771540122568578753.post-14058400290409640502016-02-19T08:43:45.103-07:002016-02-19T08:43:45.103-07:00I saw this on Connie's blog and watched the vi...I saw this on Connie's blog and watched the video. Looks very doable and fun. I wasn't going to get that punch thinking would I really use it that much? But seeing your card reminded me that inside that piece looks great with the corners punches. My friend Pam adores my cards and often asks me to make her some to send out. She usually requests a white or vanilla layer inside so she can write a note. Some of her older friends love the cards but have trouble reading the notes on darker cardstock. This is a simple but cool idea to that. I still think that circle on the sentiment was a clever idea. So, I bet I get that punch to try this out. Plus your card is so fun to hold a gift card or maybe a little tea bag esp. since your used the tea cup DP! I never staple them but if they are covered like yours I just might do that sometime. Thanks for the measurements. Love this idea for get well inserting a tea bag and maybe using one of the little tea charms to the bow. Card club meets Monday nite and I bet that punch will be my order!

Chris R. from IowaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
