Easter Tulips Wish Get Well

Before I share today's card, let me just say, one more time...

Don't miss your last chance for Sale-a-Bration freebies!  The SAB offer ends at the end of the day today, March 31.  See my post from Saturday HERE for details on ordering and receiving an additional gift from me.

Now, today's card.  This was quick and easy - even with the fussy cutting of the flowers and stems.  I'm finding that fussy cutting really isn't so bad (don't tell my friend Danita though... she loves to fussy cut and I'm starting to also!  LOL).

I stamped the flowers from Blessed Easter with Baked Brown Sugar onto Strawberry Slush and onto Pistachio Pudding and then cut them out for attaching to the card.

The first one I made I kept the bottom portion plain and then when I looked at it, I just didn't like it at all. Notice how big of an impact a little bit of embossing folder can add to this card?

I adhered the stretchy ribbon down with our two-sided Sticky Tape.  It really is the best way to hold this ribbon down, especially on embossed paper.

Sponge the edge of the sentiment and attach with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Thanks for looking in today.  I hope you're ready for a great week ahead.  I'm looking forward to our team meeting tonight and to see all the swaps everyone comes up with.

Easter Bunny Mini-Cup Treat Holder

I'm so excited to share today's project with you!  Remember the great little Mini-Cups I showed you from our Holiday Extravaganza here?  Well I created this great little Easter Bunny Mini-Cup on Saturday and I have to say I think it turned out really well.

I started with Soft Sky card stock for the base color, but discovered it was just too hard to work with, so I found the closest DSP to a light blue (that I had on hand) to cover the cup.  This actually looks much darker in the picture than it really is.  You can find the template for covering the cup here provided by Deb Valder.

For making the grass around the bottom of the cup, use the template but only use about the bottom inch.  It doesn't have to be even at the top as you will be trimming it down anyway to make the blades of grass.  The grass around the top lid is 7 1/8" long and about 3/4" tall.

I used the Fringe Scissors (133325) from the Occasions Catalog.  Don't cut with the tips of the scissors, cut with about half-way into the scissors for a clean, crisp cut.  To make the points on the grass, use the Fringe Scissors again at an angle, or use your paper snips to trim them up.

The clouds were made by running my Whisper White card stock through the Decorative Dots Embossing Folder - FREE until Monday with your Sale-a-Bration purchase!  Then punched the cloud using the Cupcake Builder Punch (121807).  I punched two of them and trimmed one along the bottom to make it smaller.

To make the Bunny Ears, use the Elegant Butterfly Punch (127526) and punch as shown below.  Then trim according to my sample a little farther down.

Be sure to sponge the edges with a soft pink.  I used Pink Pirouette.`

The cups and lids are from www.webstaurantstore.com and are super affordable!  The cups are the 4 oz. Paper Hot Cup - order number 9994W.  The lids are sold separately - order number 999L4W.

Thank you for looking in today.  Let me know if I can help you with any thing on your order.

Petal Power

Today's card uses two colors from the soon to be retiring 2012-2014 In Color Collection.  Before we know it, Stampin' Up! will be releasing the next collection of In Colors for the next two years and these beauties will be gone.

Last year, when Stampin' Up! announced the retiring colors, many customers who had purchased ink pads realized they hadn't yet purchased the re-inkers to keep their pads working past retirement.  Some missed out completely because they sold out almost immediately.  Don't miss out on stocking up on the retiring In Color supplies.  See my chart and details below today's card.

Stamps Well With Others Recipe for this card:
Stamps:  Flower Shop (w-130939 / c-130942), Petite Petals (w-133152 / c-133155), Peaceful Petals (w-133104 / c-133107)
Card Stock:  Whisper White, Raspberry Ripple, Primrose Petals
Ink: Raspberry Ripple, Primrose Petals
Large Pearl Basic Jewels (125577)

This year, don't miss out on the retiring colors before they sell out.   If you purchased any of the 2012-2014 Collection (Gumball Green, Midnight Muse, Primrose Petals, Raspberry Ripple, Summer Starfruit) now would be the perfect time to purchase a re-inker to keep your ink pad fresh and stamping.

With Sale-a-Bration ending on Monday, March 31st, now would be the perfect time to stock up on these items before they sell out and while you can use the purchase of them to earn one more free Sale-a-Bration item.

Below you will find a suggested bundle that comes to $53.45 before tax and shipping.  That means you would qualify for your Sale-a-Bration FREEBIE!

Simply click on the items below and add them to your cart.  The links will take you to my store.

The items shown are simply a suggestion and not an official Bundle from Stampin' Up, just something that will help you stock up on retiring colors and earn a SAB Freebie.  Five re-inkers and five packs of card stock adds up to $49.50 and since you need a full $50.00 (before tax and shipping) to earn a Sale-a-Bration item, I added a pack of Stampin' Dimensionals for $3.95.  You could add In Color Dahlias (127556) instead for $7.95 or the In Color Boutique Details (130938) for $8.95 to stay in the "In Color" theme.

As an added bonus, if you place any $50.00 order between now and Monday's deadline, you will receive an additional gift directly from me.  Just a little thank you from me to you.
