I was making a tri-panel card onc...Oh I like this! I was making a tri-panel card once and the measurements given were wrong too. Maybe that is why I don't like to make them besides getting them to line up perfectly. Seems you don't have the problem! Love how you colored it and I don't mind the darker patch in the background at all. Gives it character and shows it was done by you and not manufactured. Also, it reminds me of a watercolor background. So, go with it as it looks really pretty the way you colored it. I like the sentiment font too.
