Petite Purse Santa Box

Here's my favorite Santa stamp again!!  This adorable idea comes from Becky Roberts.  Thanks Becky!

This is made from the Petite Purse Bigz Die (125606). It's pretty small but perfect for just a little something to give to friends or even as a name card at your Christmas table.  Just replace the sentiments with names.  Cool!  I chose to stamp my Santa's in Real Red, but you could certainly stamp them in StazOn Black and then color them in with your blender pens.

Here are some quick instructions on how to put together the purse / holder.  After die cutting the Petite Purse, you'll need to score one more place to make the new bottom.  Lay the purse on your Stampin' Trimmer with the purse flap score line at the 1" mark, then score.

Here is the added score line (see below).  Sorry the picture is so blurry, it wouldn't focus on that line for anything!

Assemble the purse, including tucking the flap in that you just scored.

Turn the purse upside down and snip the bottom of the purse down the middle.  Fold them down and attach them to the base.  The top of the purse will have rounded edges - snip them off so it sits flat.

Add Santa inside with glue dots and then add candy, or whatever other treat you would like inside, and attach a fun sentiment.
