Tabasco Tags

This past weekend hubby and I went shopping at Bed Bath and Beyond and at the checkout counter, they had a Tabasco display with little chocolate triangles.  Since hubby LOVES anything Tabasco, I picked up a couple of them and he decided they were awesome!

I looked online and found these great little tins filled with spicy Tabasco chocolates.  I kind of went a little crazy on my purchase so I have extras that I'm going to package up for the holidays - just have to find some Tabasco Lovers.

So of course I needed to make a box to put them in and ended up using our Gift Box Punch Board.  I just love this thing, so easy to use and so many options.  For this I used the ... well, now that I look at it again, I thought I was making the 3.25 x 3.25 x 1.75 so cut a 9 x 9 inch piece of Under the Tree Specialty Designer Paper, but just realized, I only needed an 8 x 8 inch piece.  This worked perfectly though with the 9 x 9 and using the instructions for the 8 x 8.  Happy mistake!  ha ha ha!  Don't you just love when that happens?

The snowman for the tag came from copying the cute one Lorri Heiling made for our weSTAMP Christmas Party favors she gave us.  Her treat is the blue one laying down.  I changed the eyes and mouth a bit, but love how they came out!  I thought about putting a small punch flower on the hat, but then forgot about it.  Maybe if I make more I'll add it then.

Here's a better look at Lorri's gift to us.

I ended up making two boxes so far and four tags.  Aren't they just adorable!?  Oh, and the ribbon is the 1/8" Gold Ribbon 134583.  It is so easy to use and really adds a nice touch and matches the Gold Glimmer heart.133719

I made the snowman with the Wide Oval Punch (Whisper White / Basic Black), the 1 3/8" Circle Punch, the hat is the Cupcake cup from the Cupcake Builder Punch and the eyes and buttons are also from the Cupcake Builder Punch.  I free handed the nose and hand drew the mouth on with a black pen.

Thank you for looking in today!   Have a Happy Hump Day!
