There are actually two different versions on the measurements as I had to figure them out myself. I like the first one, but I like the measurements on the 2nd one better.
Stamps used are Swirly Bird and Greatest Greetings
Base - Sweet Sugarplum - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2, scored and folded at 4 1/4"
DSP - 5 1/4" x 4"
Sweet Sugarplum - 4 3/4" x 3 1/2"
Whisper White - 4 1/2" x 3 1/4"
Base - Peekaboo Peach - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2, scored and folded at 4 1/4"
DSP - 5 1/4" x 4"
Peekaboo Peach - 4 1/2" x 3 1/4"
Whisper White - 4 1/4" x 3"

These are fun! I always thought of the sun when I saw the swirly thing the first time. The kites are a fun touch. I like the DP for the outer mat as it goes with the sun radiating more heat. Both are fun versions. You are right - you could use any sentiments for these. Thanks for a fun idea. Today, we had a old car show here called Tin Resurrection and I think I felt like I was under a broiling sun part of the time. Thank goodness we didn't have the humidity today. There was also a hot air balloon lift off too. So, you could do hot air balloons instead of kites if you had the stamp.
