Remarkable You

Sometimes it is nice to color, without coloring, aka, stamping on cardstock that has the beautiful color you want and then cutting it out.  When I first started stamping and scrapbooking, fussy-cutting was the LAST thing in the world I wanted to do, but now, I find it relaxing.  Weird, right?

Do you like to fussy cut?  As long as the cutting isn't too fussy?

Recipe:

Melon Mambo - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Basic Black - 5 1/4" x 4"
Pop of Pink Designer Series Paper (DSP) 5 1/8" x 3 7/8"

Smoky Slate Circle
Basic Black Scallop Circle
Whisper White Oval
Basic Black Scallop Oval

Stamps - Remarkable You and Bunch of Blossoms

I popped up the circle and the ovals with Stampin Dimensionals.

Love the Basic Black and Melon Mambo together.

Thank you for looking in today!  Have a Blessed Sunday! ~ Donna

  1. Very pretty! Love that background paper. I have looked at that set numerous times but didn't like the price. I would love to have the calla lilies or whatever kind of lilies they are. I don't mind fussy cutting if there is not too much or too intricate but sometimes it just needs to be done and really makes a statement. Love all the layers and the inside is the crowning touch with that sentiment! Well done my friend!

    1. Thank you Chris! I like the Pop of Pink too, although I've mostly used the black and white sides. LOL This set has a lot of potential, it is a bit pricy, which is why I didn't get it right away. Then I saw so many great cards with it, I had to give in.

Thank you for being so supportive!
