Haunted House with Power Strips

On Saturday, 125 of Diana and Rhonda's closest friends gathered together for their Fall Fest 2016.  It is so much fun to stamp and craft with friends instead of being the one planning, cutting and prepping!  Which I also love, don't get me wrong - but boy oh boy, it's fun to be the one playing with the others - or as my team name is "Stamps Well With Others".

Our first card that I'm going to share today is a great way to use up some of the strips of paper you have left over from other projects.

Recipe:
Whisper White Thick Cardstock - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Whisper White Cardstock - 5 1/4" x 4"
Halloween Night DSP - (Haunted House) - 2 3/4" x 2 1/4"
Pumpkin Pie - 3" x 2 1/2"
Basic Black - 3 1/4" x 2 3/4"
Jar of Haunts - Sentiment

  • Stamp greeting with Memento Tuxedo Black in upper right hand corner of the smaller piece of Whisper White.
  • Adhere strips of Halloween Night DSP at an angle.  Lay them all out on your cardstock before adding adhesive so you are sure you have enough length.  Hanging over the edge is best - you can trim it off before attaching to the card.
  • Assemble layers (DSP, Pumpkin Pie and Basic Black) as shown.
  • Pop up onto the card base with Stampin' Dimensionals.

  1. This is fun! I seem to always have my angles going the other way and not sure why. Maybe a right handed thing? Whatever, this is almost refreshing having them angle the other way. Love the mating for the little haunted house too. This is fun and another one to CASE! It is probably a lot of work as well as fun to coordinate and plan all the activities and then bask in the glow when done and everyone had a great time and loved the projects. But, there is also the times when it is good to share the responsibilities, well, just kick back and have a great time I mean!

    1. We had a great time! So much fun to be able to be the one crafting the kits instead of thinking them up! :)
