Stylized Masculine Birthday

A little break from Halloween and Christmas to make some masculine birthday cards.

This card came together very quickly.  I started with a 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" piece of scrap paper.  I used the largest oval from Layering Ovals and then carefully tore away a little bit more paper to make it uneven.  See picture below:

Recipe:
Night of Navy - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Soft Suede - 5 1/4" x 4"
Very Vanilla - 5" x 3 3/4"

With the Hardwood background stamp rubber side up, ink it up with Crumb Cake, lay the torn oval over the stamp and then lay the Very Vanilla piece onto to the open space on the stamp.  Rub gently to transfer the ink.  Gently lift off.  Repeat for as many cards as you plan to make.  Attach the Very Vanilla piece to the Soft Suede piece.

Stamp the Stylized Birthday stamp with Night of Navy.
Tie Night of Navy (Annual Catalog) and Gold Baker's Twine (found in the Holiday Mini) around the Very Vanilla / Soft Suede card stock.  I tied each of them differently, for a little variety.

Add gold Metallic Enamel Shapes as desired.  Attach to the Night of Navy base with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Don't forget to put another piece of Very Vanilla inside for stamping or writing your greeting.
