Sneak Peek Time!

My Pre-Order Arrived!  I just love being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator getting to order new products a month before everyone else!  You could order early too if you were a Demonstrator.  Hint, Hint...

So for today's project I looked into the upcoming Sale-a-Bration catalog for a starting point.  I had to guess on measurements, so they aren't exact.  Either way, I think they turned out cute.

This first one uses all the same paper colors as shown in the catalog.  I colored the chicken differently and I added the lines, because they were so cute on the card we made at our Team Meeting last week.

Recipe:

Pool Party 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Serene Scenery Designer Series Paper Stack - 5 1/4" x 4"
Whisper White - 3 1/2" x 2 1/2"
Serene Scenery DSP scraps

This one I made the Whisper White and DSP Scraps smaller and used a different piece of paper from the Serene Scenery Stack.

Both were colored with the new Watercolor Pencils.  I'm SO HAPPY to have them back in our lineup.  I just love coloring!

Thank you for looking in today.  Come back for more sneak peeks from my box of goodies!

Happy Saturday!

  1. I am looking forward to trying my hand with the colored pencils. Sometimes I prefer the look as it is softer usually. I am still working on little presents and cards for Christmas. Maybe it is just as well I am not a demo as I would never get my Christmas stuff done if I had all new other stuff to play with!

    1. You would have had all your Christmas stuff done so you could play with the new stuff! Normally I would have, but the election work really whooped me and my time!

I sure love coloring with the new pencils. Going to need more colors though. Love more colors!

    1. Hi Lisa! Thank you for taking the time to comment. You made my day!

I have also worked with the Aqua Brush on watercolor paper and the Watercolor Pencils. That comes out very well too. I prefer the blender pens for smaller coloring areas so the water doesn't get out of control. For larger areas, such as backgrounds or the ground around the chickens or other items, I like the Aqua Brush.

      Blessings to you!
