I'm In Love With Hey Chick!

Hopefully you aren't getting tired of these cute Sale-a-Bration stamps, because I just love them and can't get enough of them!

Recipe:

Cherry Cobbler - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Basic Black - 5 1/4" x 4"
Pop of Pink Designer Series Paper - 5 1/8" x 3 7/8"
Whisper White - die cut with the largest Stitched Shapes framlits
Cherry Cobbler - die cut with the largest Layering Circles Scallop

My apologies on this one with the ribbon.  It was the only Cherry Cobbler I had and it is from the 2016 Holiday Catalog.  So, if you have some, yay!  If not, you can use the burlap ribbon as on the card below.

Inside - I couldn't resist adding the Phyllis chicken in the corner to peek in.  She's just too cute!

This little hen didn't need much color, so sche could match her background.  I just used watercolor pencils to add red to her head and her feet and a little gray to give some shadows.

Inside I added some of the dotted paper to carry it from the outside.

Thank you for looking in today!  Tonight is our Team Meeting, so if you don't see a post from me on Tuesday morning, that will be why.  Our meetings have moved a little farther away, so it takes longer to get home, but I'm totally enjoying the drive.  It gives me quiet time alone!

Happy Monday!

  1. Hi Donna. Yes this set has got to be one of my all time favourites. And the cards you've made with it are really quite something else.

  2. So cute - love little Phyllis sticking her head in the corner of the inside too. Ann Schach has a great card using the girls and paper piecing. She fussy cut the cutest background paper too. I like the cherry cobbler ribbon on there. I wish they would quit retiring stuff! How fun a comment from Germany! Always to have a few happy fun cards in our stash!
