Pop-Up Chicks

Ohhhh I'm so excited about this card I can hardly stand it!  We're going to make this today at our workshop.  I can hardly wait for it to start!

Recipe:
Very Vanilla - 11" x 4 1/4", score and fold at 5 1/2"
Very Vanilla - 5 1/4" x 4"
Neutrals (Crumb Cake) Designer Series Paper 5 1/4" x 4 (cut two)
Very Vanilla - 8 1/2" x 2 1/2" (for folding mechanism)
Very Vanilla - 11" x 2 3/4" - score at 2 3/4", 5 1/2", 8 1/4"

Crumb Cake - 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" (cut 5)
Very Vanilla - 2 3/8" x 2 3/8" (cut 5)

To achieve the chicken wire look, gently ink up the skinny (where you can feel the little lines) side of the Hexagons Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  Place the 5 1/4" x 4" Very Vanilla inside the folder and gently rub the ink onto the cardstock.  No need to run through the Big Shot.

I still think the Phyllis Diller chicken is the cutest!

You can get this great little set for FREE with a $50.00 order (before shipping and tax).

Thank you for looking in today.  Happy Saturday!

  1. Oh this turned out so much fun! No wonder you couldn't wait to do this today! Love the chicken wire and then the fold out of the characters is eggactly what we needed! The polka dot part is a fun touch too. I am still clucking, I mean, chuckling at this card! Well done my friend!

  2. What a fabulous card! I love the variations you get when stampers get together. It gives so many new ideas for the card and the stamps.

    1. You are so right! I get so much inspiration from my stampers. It is always fun to see what variations they come up with.

Thank you so much for taking the time to comment!
