Tranquil Tulips Birthday

Can you believe it?  No Piggy today.  Hard to believe I know, but I've been wanting to play with these beautiful tulips.  Tulips are one of my favorite flowers.  So colorful!

If you love these tulips too, they can be yours when you host a party or have sales totalling $150 or more, you can purchase this set for $10.00.  Quite a bargain, don't you think?  If you think you'd like to purchase some stamps on your own over a period of  30 days, I can give you a hostess code and you can place an order for a full 30 days and then select your hostess products at the end.  Want some friends to help you earn your rewards, just give them your hostess code and you'll reach that goal even quicker!

Recipe:

Rose Red - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Lemon Lime Twist - 5 1/4" x 4"
Whisper White - 5" x 3 3/4"

Stamps:
Tranquil Tulips
Happy Birthday Gorgeous

Ink:  Rose Red and Lemon Lime Twist
Thinlits: Happy Birthday

I stamped the large part of the tulips with Rose Red (stamped off once, then stamped on Whisper White), then stamped the smaller part of the tulip with full inked Rose Red.

The leaves and stems are Lemon Lime Twist.

The "Happy" was cut off from "Birthday"... yes, I cut them apart!    So now I can use it separately and do the same to the Happy Birthday Thinlit and cut those words apart as well.

Inside I stamped another sentiment from Happy Birthday Gorgeous with Rose Red.  I think I'll be making more of these.  So pretty and look at all the colors we have to use for variety!

Thank you for looking in today.  Have a Happy Hump Day!

  1. I will be getting this set eventually. Tulips are a given here on Pella what with the Tulip Festival and all. Besides they are just happy flowers. Love how you inked them up! Stay cool! We just had a little shower of rain - just as they got up on the roof. I hope they don't leave as it looks like it is clearing off.

    1. I knew you would be getting this set with your Tulip Town and all. I just love them.

A shower of rain would just sizzle away here... LOL our rains will be coming eventually as we are "officially" in Monsoon Season, but it's too dry here yet.

Stayed home today to go with hubby for a dr. appointment. Sadly it will be in the heat of the day! Thank goodness for air conditioning!
