Bats and Cats and Rats, Oh My

Halloween will be here before you know it.  If you pay attention in the stores, you'd think it was tomorrow by all the candy already in the aisles.

So, let's do some Trick or Treating.

Recipe:
Very Vanilla - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Basic Black - 5 1/4" x 4"
Pumpkin Pie - 5" x 3 3/4"
Spooky Night Designer Series Paper - 3 3/4" x 1 1/2"
Very Vanilla - 3 1/4" x 3/4" (stamp sentiment first, then cut your ends)
Basic Black 4" x 3/4" (trim to desired mat size)
Very Vanilla - 3" x 3"
Basic Black - 3 1/4" x 3 1/4"

Sweet House - Spider Web and Bat
Spooky Cat - Rat (stamped with crumb cake) and Sentiment

Inside I stamped the little beaker trio with Memento Black and then using the stamps that go inside, I stamped with Bermuda Bay, Rich Razzleberry and Lemon Lime Twist.  This takes some practice, so give it a go on some scraps first.

Thank you for looking in today!  One more day to the weekend!

  1. Cute even with those dreaded mice and bats! Hopefully the cat can take care of both! That hat always cracks me up perched on the cats. Yours even sports some bling! Love all the layers and that inside just perfects it! I used the spider web doilies from last year cut into pieces and put in the corner like where yours is for the charity Halloween cards. One had better have some kitty treats or she will put a dead mouse (hopefully dead) on your doorstep as a trick! Fun!

    1. Thanks Chris! You know, we have an indoor / outdoor cat that gets treats ALL the time and she brings us mice (a couple have been alive!) to thank us for the treats... Yikes! Matter of fact, last weekend she did it.

I love the hat on the cats too. It seems perfect and the hat has to have some bling! LOL
