All Things Thanks

I was in a coloring mood Wednesday night, so I pulled out my Petal Passion Designer Series Paper and found one to color with my Stampin' Blends.  I used Old Olive and Pink Pirouette.  Since the paper is a bit busy, I wanted a nice big greeting to go on the front so I chose Thanks for Everything from All Things Thanks.

It is stamped on Whisper White with Memento Black and die cut with Stitched Shapes and a scalloped mat in Basic Black from Layering Ovals.

Recipe:
Basic Black - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Old Olive - 5 1/4" x 4"
Petal Passion DSP - 5" x 3 3/4"

Quick and simple.

Inside - Whisper White - 5 1/4" x 4" and another stamp from All Thing Thanks.

Thank you for looking in today.  It's "Friday Eve".  Yay!!

  1. Pretty card! I like the old olive mat with the black. I have a new pack of the Petal Passion paper but have not played with it yet. I keep saying I will but something else always captures my attention or I think I need the pinks or something. Well, yesterday I received the pinks and the Bermuda Bay ones so I think I should try it the next couple of days. There are still a few colors I do not have yet. I tried the pinks in a very fast pig card. Of course since I had the cheaper paper cut I used it since it was just sitting there. I let the Memento ink dry for 5 minutes or so and thought it was ok. I applied the two pinks and sort of blended them. I went to take Teddy out and came back to a furry pig! The black spread a little. Part of it looked like a shadow but that is stretching it! I was in a hurry to get the box in the mail so I just went with it. After I wrote that this was their guardian angel pig I put a PS adding when using the blends - don't use cheap cardstock! The box was going to a demo friend and her family. So, I thought that would make them smile! Tomorrow, maybe I can try it with the good stuff since it came yesterday too. I had a silver gel pen and used it on parts of the wings since the Wink of Stella was upstairs. Great card and I like the rhinestones on a couple of the flowers too. The sentiment looks great!

    1. Well, some pigs are kinda furry, right? Definitely a selling point for our nice cardstock... "if you don't want furry pigs or furry flowers, always use SU cardstock!"

Speaking of Wink of Stella, did you see my tip for getting more out of it when it doesn't want to work anymore? Just add a little rubbing alcohol and it helps to get more out of the barrel!
