Calendar 2018 - Be Creative!

Maybe a month late here, but that's okay, there's still 11 months to go on the calendar!

The measurements for this one comes from my friend Jennie - Thank You Jennie!

Recipe:

  • Base - Pear Pizzazz - 8 1/2" x 4 1/4" - score at 2 1/8" and 4 1/4"
  • Soft Suede - 4" x 4" ( times two - I also put one on the bottom underneath for a stronger base)
  • Coffee Break Designer Series Paper - 3 3/4" x 3 3/4"
  • Basic Black - 2 5/8" x 1 7/8" (for under the calendar)

Calendars from - Vippies.com

When folding the base, give the creases a nice crisp fold.

Garden Green for the Apron from Apron Builder Framelits
Basic Black and Smokey Gray for the Scissors

I popped up the calendar and the apron pocket with Stampin' Dimensionals.  Be sure to get plenty of liquid glue on the apron strings as they are very thin and will easily come unstuck if you don't use something strong.  I also taped the ends of them down on the back of the apron to be sure they didn't disappear.

Add a little bling to the neck strap and you are set for another year!

Thank you for looking in today.  Happy Friday!!!

  1. Very cute. I have been wondering if this set will carry over as this would be so fun for, well, next year for Christmas presents. I am usually not worried about retiring sets but at times I get tired of not having current sets. Heaven help me if I actually gave a class or something. I just think the apron could be used for so many thing from recipes to well, whatever. I like the little touch of bling on the apron. I still think I will get this set. I do have the crafting forever set. Thanks for another great idea.

    1. It would be a shame for this to be only for spring. It would be a great Father's Day BBQ card and like you said, Christmas! So much to do with this one.
