Waterfront Swap and March Hostess Code

It's time for a new hostess code and free gift from me with purchase.  Make a purchase of $50.00 or more from my online store and use the hostess code below.  If your purchase is OVER $150.00, don't use the hostess code and select your own Stampin' Rewards.  You will still receive a gift from me.

Have you tried this yet?  I wish I could tell you what "this" is, it's on the tip of my tongue and if I think of it, I'll tell you!  Any ideas?

It is really pretty fun to do and you get a different look each time.

Stamp your images onto a piece of white tissue paper - the kind we all have for gift bags and wrapping.  I recommend making the tissue paper bigger than the cardstock it will be going on.  Let the ink dry completely, then scrunch up the tissue paper, then gently open it up again.

Using a glue stick, yes, a glue stick, cover a piece of Whisper White cardstock with a coating of glue.  Carefully lay the tissue paper onto the cardstock, centering the image over the cardstock, and pressing it into the glue.  There will be wrinkles, that is what makes it look so awesome!  Trim off the excess tissue paper and let dry completely before adding it to your card base of choice.

This fun card was made by Patti Galegher from our weSTAMP Team.

Thank you for looking in today!  Happy Saturday!

  1. I was always going to try this technique but never did. Not sure why. One of these days I will. There is something with a used dryer sheet too I was always going to try. I don't use dryer sheets so a friend gave me a bunch of used ones. Mike found the bag and threw it out not having a clue why I had used dryer sheets. Whatever... Well, it is a glorious day out, I think I will take Teddy for a long walk.

    1. Oh yes, I've done the dryer sheets. I don't recall stamping on them, but using them over a stamped image to look like it's muted a bit. My first SU Demo did that and we had to go outside and use spray adhesive. I didn't much care for that oh and we used glitter too, so it was a MESS! Could by why I haven't done it again.

Enjoy your walk. It's beautiful here today too.

    1. Mary, Thank you! That's IT! I knew if I heard it, I would recognize it.

I'll be sure Patti knows you like it. She's a sweet gal!

      Thank you again!
