Don't you just love all the beautiful colors in the Animal Expedition Designer Series Paper? So many bright colors and those sweet little birds flying all around!
Recipe (2 color choices):
Pool Party / Berry Burst - 11" x 4 1/4", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Berry Burst / Pool Party - 4 1/4" x 2 3/4"
Pool Party / Berry Burst - 3 3/4" x 1 3/4"
Whisper White - 3 1/4" x 2 1/4"
Stamps: Animal Outing
Ink: Memento Black
Stampin' Blends: Daffodil Delight, Crumb Cake, Old Olive, Bronze,
I stamped the Giraffe, twice, with Memento Black Ink, let it dry completely and then colored with Stampin' Blends - Daffodil Delight Light and Crumb Cake Dark. I also used the light Smoky Slate Stampin' Blends for a very light thin shadow on one side of each giraffe.
Inside I stamped the branch with the little frog. Sorry the frog is a bit blurry... not sure what happened there!
Remember to decorate the flap with matching Designer Series Paper.
... and I finally remembered to stamp the front of the envelope! I always mean to, and it just escapes my brain! Give it a try - you'll love how nice it makes the envelope look. Before coloring the envelope, I slipped a piece of scrap paper inside just in case the Stampin' Blends bled through. I didn't notice any ink inside, but if you were coloring something darker, or heavy on the ink, it certainly could.
