Happy New Year!

Wishing you all a very Happy New Year!

To celebrate, I'm going out tonight with some friends to a concert!  Can you believe that?  I'm 59 years old and this is the first time I've ever been out to a concert - or any event actually - on New Years Eve!  Crazy!!  We're going to go see Home Free - a fabulous vocal band who sing beautifully.  Check them out HERE.

Today's card celebrates with bright lights and fireworks!

Recipe:
Night of Navy - 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Whisper White - 4" x 5 1/4" (cut two - one for inside as well)

Stamps - Making Every Day Bright, Timeless Tidings and Waterfront
Ink - Daffodil Delight, Night of Navy, Real Red, Pacific Point, Smoky Slate and Pumpkin Pie

The bulb stamp I used is the one with the heart in the middle, but I covered it with a rhinestone that I colored with the Daffodil Delight Dark Stampin' Blend.

Thank you for looking in today!  Let's all get ready to start a Shiny New Year!

  1. Well, have a good time at the concert. We are at about 32 degrees here. Concert inside or out? Anyway, we had rain turning to sleet then to snow and back to a mixture of sleet and rain. As far as I am going is just to the backyard for Teddy to go to the bathroom. Cute card. I had not thought about the string of lights but it works! I will probably be in bed by 10:30 easily. I am not one to party anyway. Happy New Year to you and your family!

    1. The concert was wonderful. We were one row from the top in the balcony (INSIDE Concert), but they sounded great, even if we couldn't see them all that well! Bought a CD and had them sign it at the end of the concert.

It rained most of the afternoon and evening and we had snow in the higher elevations, even just north of Phoenix, maybe 20 minutes north of where we are.

Have a wonderful rest of your week!
