My Team Swap - September

I've been holding off sharing this one until we had our Team Meeting last Monday.  When we swap, we vote on a favorite, so I couldn't share this until after the meeting.

This card made me SO happy!

Recipe:
Base, 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Soft Sky - 5 1/4" x 4"
Real Red - thin scrap to go under bottom line - dot - line
Real Red - small scrap to die cut Santa Hat
Whisper White 5 1/2" x 4 1/4"
Blushing Bride - scrap cut to fit behind face and mouth
Pacific Point - eyes (punched with Owl Punch)

Using the Detailed Santa Thinlits Die center it over the Whisper White front towards the top so the top border is the same as the side borders. To make the cut pieces come out easier, place a piece of wax paper or a small piece of a grocery bag or one of our Stampin' Up delivery bags between the Whisper White and the Die.  You'll be glad you did.  I also ran mine through a couple of times to be sure it cuts well.

Using the small border piece (the lines and dot) die cut across the bottom leaving room for your sentiment.

Sentiment is from Greetings from Santa - comes bundled with the Detailed Santa Thinlit!

Thank you for looking in today.  I hope you enjoy this version of the Detailed Santa.

  1. Yes, I like this version better and in fact, the best yet I have seen using that beard! I like the face with the eyes and glasses. So, did you win? It sure is a winner in my book! Well done!

    1. Thanks Chris! I like having the colors added to this one. Nope, I didn't win, Sue Parker did with her cute fishing bear. Check out Sparkled Stamps by Sue Parker.

  2. I had a fun stroll through her blog but forgot to sign up to get it regularly so I will just have to go back. I saw some great ideas to work from. I still love your santa card!
