Birthday Memories

This is such a sweet Suite of  Stamps, Paper and Thinlits all three included in the bundle.  The first time I saw it, it took me back to my childhood.  Something about the paper and the stamps just brought back fun books and growing up.  Perhaps that's why they call it "Birthday Memories".

Even better, some of the Thinlits match up to the paper.  The fox and the banner he's carrying was cut with a thinlit.  The turtle I fussy cut, but it was very easy.  Just remember to turn your paper as  you cut and not your scissors, except to gently squeeze them for cutting.

Recipe:  Whisper White Thick cardstock - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Lemon Lime Twist - 5 3/8" x 4 1/8"
Birthday Memories Designer Series Paper - 5 1/8" x 3 7/8"

Below you can see the Whisper White a little bit better.  The straight on picture washes out a bit in the above picture.

Inside: One of the stamps from the set Birthday Delivery and additional strip of DSP which is the backside of the paper with the fox and the turtle.

Thank you for looking in today!  Have a Blessed Sunday!

  1. Cute. I like the strip of paper you put inside! I hadn't even noticed the turtle on the paper. I just have a 1/2 piece from a share and really have not played with any of the DSP other than the color theory stuff which I am in love with. I didn't think I would give a hoot about it but I bought a pack and 1/3 of it is gone already! Seems appropriate to see if I still have the CandyLand game since the fox reminds me of Uncle Wiggly. Actually I know I don't have the game as I gave it to the Women's Shelter for the little kids to play with it and some other games I found at my parent's house. The polka dot paper is perfect too. Great fussy cutting!

    1. Thank you Chris! I just had to add the paper inside, it was too plain and blah and I didn't feel like stamping anything. Adding a strip of paper makes it so fast and easy and it uses up scraps!

I love the idea of paper shares, but sometimes you miss out when it is a full sheet where one side or quarter of a piece has different things on it. One of these days though, I'm going to offer a paper share. I hope. :)
