Borrowed Butterflies

If I would have thought of making a black butterfly and having it turn out pretty, I would have probably not done it.  However, this card we made at Diana Gibbs' Spring Fling came out beautifully, don't you think?

This card is made with Basic Black and Sahara Sand with Something Borrowed Designer Series Paper.  Adding the roses from the Artisan Embellishment Kit really brings the beauty to the card.

Thank you for looking in today.  I hope you had a great weekend.  Tonight is Team Meeting night and I love getting together with the other girls in our Family Team!

Happy Monday!

  1. I thought the same thing at first and then it turned out to be one of my favorites from the day! I think it almost looks like wrought iron.

  2. WOW...that is gorgeous! I'm buying the butterfly die set (how can I not after the make & take you sent to our group in Willcox?!) but darnnit now I need that designer paper too. I'd never have thought to use a black butterfly buy now I have a feeling it will be the very first one that comes out of my machine!

    1. I've got my fingers crossed that the Butterfly die's carry over into the next catalog. I'd be very upset if they retired! A word of advice, buy the bundle! I only got the dies and now I wish I had the stamps too. They totally need to go together! :)
