Coming soon is the Summer Mini (Yayyyyy!!!). In the Mini you will find a set called "Strength & Hope". This is a beautiful set and I hope that everyone buys this set so that more money can be donated to a very good cause. I believe all of us have known someone we love who has had breast cancer. Wouldn't it be nice if our children and grandchildren can say they didn't know anyone with this dreadful disease?
The recipe for this card is: Bravo Burgandy and Pretty in Pink cardstock; Cherry Cobbler and Regal Rose ink; Paisley Petals DSP (coming in April with purchase and in July in the new 2011-12 Idea Book and Catalog) and Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding.
Stampin' Up! is donating $2.00 from each purchase to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. BCRF is dedicated to preventing breast cancer and finding a cure in our lifetime by funding clinical and translational research worldwide. For more information about BCRF, visit www.bcrfcure.org.
Thank you for looking and have a great day!

Stamp A Stack - March 25th
I'm so excited for our next Stamp-A-Stack Class!! It's this Friday at 6 p.m. (or whenever you can arrive after work). I have the day off so I'll be providing the munchies, with the help of Linda who also has the day off... THANKS Linda!
Everyone always needs birthday cards in their stash, so this will be a good way to build a collection of cards. Here's a sneak peek at the cards we'll be making this Friday.

Sneak Peek #4
This is the 4th stamp in a set of 4 that will be available for you to purchase with any $20.00 order beginning April 1st and going through April 30th. You can also earn them for free with a qualifying workshop... be sure to ask me how you can get them for FREE...
The colors used here are Baja Breeze and Old Olive. It looks so much better in real life and the colors work better together too. On here, they don't look like they are the appropriate matching colors, but they are... I promise! LOL
Have a great day!!!

Sneak Peek #3 - I love this one!
I think this is my favorite of the four stamps. I inked the stamp with Old Olive and used my Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Write marker on the flowers and then colored the flowers and stems in with my blender pen and ink from the lid of the ink pads. Very pretty how it turned out, if I do say so myself!
Can you tell I love this ribbon technique? It's so easy to do, even my customers who hate working with ribbon can manage this technique!

Sneak Peek #2 - Another Stamp...
Here is a 2nd stamp in a series of 4 that you will be able to purchase beginning April 1st with any $20.00 Stampin' Up purchase. This one was stamped with an additional stamp as background behind the bird. For that background I used the filigree stamp from the SAB promotion Bliss (121851) available until March 30th.
I really like these stamps and papers. The stamps can all be punched with the Decorative Label Punch available from my website here.
Thanks for looking in. Come back tomorrow evening for Sneak Peek #3!

Saturday's Workshop Creations
I've been wanting to share these since I finished making them, but wanted to wait until the workshop was over so that the projects would be a surprise when the girls arrived.
Yesterday's workshop was fun, as usual, with everyone creating their projects with lots of laughter and fun.
Here's what we made. Many thanks to inspiration from other wonderful Stampin' Up Demonstrators who are always willing to share their creations.

This one can be used for just about anything from a birthday card to a "just because" card. I found this on Splitcoast Stampers and made a couple of variations. I'm sorry I don't remember exactly who created it as my notes have vanished it seems (normal for me some days...lol).
Recipe:
Cardstock - Crumb Cake, Peach Parfait, Very Vanilla and Chocolate Chip.
Stamps - Eat Chocolate (121931) from 2011 Occasions Mini
Ink - Chocolate Chip, Peach Parfait
Tools - Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border (119275) and Decorative Label Punch (120907)
This card was originally created by Carol from my upline group. I changed the colors to some softer pastels. Thanks Carol for this really adorable card!
Recipe:
Cardstock - Bashful Blue, Pink Pirouette, Pear Pizzazz, So Saffron
Stamps - Easter Blossoms (121905 w - 122057 c) also from the 2011 Occasions Mini
Ink - Pear Pizzazz
Ribbon - Marina Mist Taffeta
Tools - Extra Large Oval - 2" x 1 3/8" (119859) and Scallop Trim Border (118402)
This was was inspired by Mary Fish. She has the greatest ideas and Wow Video's that I've ever seen. Amazing woman! Here is our little Bunny Box and the best part, it holds a Hershey Kiss!
Recipe:
Cardstock - Whisper White, Pretty in Pink, Basic Black
Tools - Petal Card Extra-Large Double Punch (119273), 3/4" Circle Punch (119873), 3/4" x 15/16" Oval Punch (120908) Holiday Mini Carryover List, Heart to Heart Punch (119881) and Bitty Buttons (118761)
Ribbon - I used Rose Red 1/2" Seam Binding Ribbon (121884)
Then, lastly, and this wasn't part of the workshop, but my SON actually asked me to make a card for him for a wedding he was going to. I was THRILLED to say the least. Wooo Hoo!
This is what I came up with. Inside, I put two tiny glue dots and left the paper attached for placing a gift card inside (which is what he wanted for inside the card).
Paper - Very Vanilla and Cherry Cobbler
Stamps: Fifth Avenue Floral (113734) and Occasional Quotes (Hostess Gift - Level 3)
Ribbon - Cherry Cobbelr 1/2" Seam Binding Ribbon
Punch - Decorative Label Punch (120907)

More Cards to Share
I've really been enjoying putting together some clean and simple cards lately. They are fun and easy to do but yet look elegant and crisp.
Sadly, more Sympathy cards were needed, so here's what I made.
Sadly, more Sympathy cards were needed, so here's what I made.
Using Upsy Daisy and Teeny Tiny Wishes stamps sets, Cajun Craze cardstock and ink and stamped onto Very Vanilla.
I really like how this one looks using the Always Elegant stamp set (available for free this month in the Sale-a-Bration promotion - ask me for more details!). The Sympathy stamp comes from Close as a Memory (retired) but it is one of my favorites to use. Cardstock is Bashful Blue and the ink is Tempting Turquoise on Whisper White.
The next two cards were created by Berta. This is one talented gal! The creations she comes up with are just astounding. Most of her cards come directly from her own creations. Once in a while she uses inspiration from others we've seen on Splitcoast Stampers.
Stamps used here were from Eat Chocolate. She hand colored each of the candies with SU! Markers. I just think this is adorable!
Scallops turned into flowers! How cute is that. The stamp sets used are Punch Bunch and Bliss from the Sale-a-Bration catalog. I really love how this looks. It's definitely time for springtime flowers to bloom!
Thank you for looking in. Let's see your creations too!!
