Let It Snow - I'm Melted!

I saw this somewhere and fell in love with it.  If it was your design or you know who made it before, please let me know so I can give credit!

Isn't this adorable and so easy with the Let It Snow Embellishment Kit.  Even the beautiful frosty washi tape is part of the kit.

Recipe:
Whisper White Thick card stock - 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Pool Party - 4" x 5 1/4" - embossed with Swirls and Curls Embossing folder
Whisper White - die cut with Stitched Shapes Circle - largest

I used Balmy Blue ink, because I couldn't find my Soft Sky pad... until I finished stamping, of course!  That's okay, I think it looks good with some variety!

Bird Ballad Laser Cuts

Have you seen these beautiful Laser Cut cards yet?  They're on page 168 of the Annual Catalog and the possibilities are endless!  I can't believe I waited so long to try them.

For this one I lined it with some of the pretty Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper cut at 4 1/8" x 5 3/8".

To attach the first piece, remember to put the flowers towards the front.  Simple put a thin line of liquid glue around the outside edge and the paper will stick perfectly.  It doesn't have to have glue over the entire front.

Because the back of this DSP isn't pretty flowers, I cut a 2nd piece, exactly the same size and adhered it to the back.  

Stamp the inside and you're all done!  This kit even comes with beautiful scalloped envelopes!

Merriest Pine Tree Wishes

This was SO FAST and so easy to make.  I think I took more time tying the bow than I did putting it all together!

Recipe:
Whisper White Thick  cardstock - 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Wrapped in Plaid Designer Series Paper - 4" x 5 1/4" - (punch the tree out of this piece!)
Whisper White cardstock - 3 3/4" x 5" - (if I were to do it again, I'd make this piece 3 1/2" x 4 3/4" to show more of the DSP)

New Wonders Peeking In

This cute little Hostess Set is one of my favorites.  I need to get it out more often.  Ever since I saw this little gal "pulling back the page" I knew I wanted to make a card like this one.  

Gather some friends to place an order with you or spend $150.00 or more and you too can purchase this sweet set with your Hostess Rewards!

Look closely, I trimmed off the corner so you can see the Garden Lane Designer Series Paper inside.

Recipe:

Whisper White Thick card stock - 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"

Garden Lane DSP - 5 1/2" x 4 1/4

Stamp so the edges of the "curled" part of the stamp line up along the bottom and side and then trim it off with your paper snips.

The leaves are from Healing Hugs and I used Mint Macaron to match the DSP.

Inside, I punched with the Story Label Punch and then stamped inside the punched area.

Edna Turns 90!

A Stampin' Up! Demonstrator friend of mine has a dear friend who has a Mom who is turning 90 years (young) on November 27th.  I've been sharing her information with my team and customers and decided I wanted to share it here as well.

Mossy Meadow - 4 1/4" x 11", scored and folded at 5 1/2", then cut 2 3/4" off the front flap.

Remember to decorate the envelope flap too!  It always adds such beauty to the card before it even opens.

Happy Birthday Big Ed!

A dear friend of mine is turning 100 years old this week!  If you saw him, you would never believe he's a century old!  I think his longevity comes from his pound cake... He made the BEST pound cake for special occasions and oh boy did we ever look forward to those days.

Now, because this is a special event, I simply had to use the retired Large Numbers dies as there is no better way to celebrate 100 years!  Apparently the "celebrate" is retired too, but I missed marking that one.  Oh well, this is special and if you have it Use It!!

Thank you for looking in today.  I can't believe I managed to get this made today (Saturday).  Today has been spent running from one kind of doctor to another, to another.  For those of you who follow regularly, you know about our little dog Nike.  Well this morning he wasn't feeling well so I managed to get him into the Vet.  It helps that we only 1/2 mile away.  Nike is anemic, his gums had very little color and they should be a nice pink color.  We don't know why just yet, we've done blood work and have him on some meds.  He seems a little chipper tonight, but not much.  I managed to get him to eat some chicken and his gums look a little pinker, so I'm very hopeful.  Keep him in your prayers please.  He's 13 years old and we just love him so much!
