Welcome Little One
With all the thank you notes I've been planning and making, it slipped my mind that I needed a card to give to the Momma to be at her baby shower at the office on Thursday. I was actually going to post this the other night, but we ended up with some big thunder and lightning, so I wasn't brave enough to turn on the computer. It was wonderful!
So, here's the card I made for her. I CASEd it from Lynn Dunn who made a snowman card. It was so easy to make and I will be making more very soon. I started to type up instructions then realized how late it was getting. Lynn's directions are awesome and she has a video.
I used Follow Your Art Designer Series Paper and Fable Friends and Animal Outing for stamps.
Isn't this adorable?
Thank you Lynn for this great card and directions. Check out her video and directions.
p.s. - I made more cards with this pattern and made a couple of changes that I think you will appreciate. When cutting the Whisper White card stock that is the sliding piece, I changed the width to 2 13/16 - so one little "dit"past 3/4 and that little bit extra made a big difference on sliding without coming out of place. Also, with the ribbon at the top, it won't fit into an envelope, so I punched a little bit of a half circle with my 3/4" punch. I'll show you that card after our team meeting. It's a secret right now.
Thank you all for looking in today!

Today I'm sharing one of the cards from our Team Swap earlier this week. This one just happens to be one of my Stamps Well With Others team member's, Marie Colby. I just love this momma duck and her babies (they're inside).
Aren't they adorable? So cute and fun to color however you want.
Thank you for looking in today. The weekend is getting closer!
Happy Thursday!

Granola Bar Treats
So this isn't really a Granola Bar, but that's the best thing I can call it without a long explanation. We'll save that for another day. For now though, I'm meeting some friends tonight and I wanted to give them a little Easter Treat.
There really aren't any measurements, simply because it would all depend on what you are wanting to cover. I just measured this from end to end and decided where I wanted the paper to cover and cut it to that width. Then I wrapped it around until it overlapped and cut it to that length. Be sure to give enough overlap to use adhesive. I used Tear and Tape for a strong hold.
I stamped the bunnies from Fable Friends and colored them with Light Soft Suede Stampin' Blend, Dark Petal Pink for the ears and belly and Dark Pool Party for the sweater. I darkened the buttons with Dark Night of Navy and then fussy cut them with my snips. They really weren't that hard to snip.
Thank you for looking in today. It's "Friday Eve!" and I'm going out with friends tonight, so I'm excited for some girl time!

Fable Bun-Bun
Isn't this the cutest bunny? I think it is one of the cutest we've had in recent years and can be used for more than just Easter. This set is great for Babies and Easter.
Today's card doesn't have a destination. I decided to keep it generic for now and add a sentiment when I'm in need of something specific.
Recipe:
Balmy Blue - 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Gingham Gala (Balmy Blue) 4" x 5 1/4"
Balmy Blue - 3 1/2" x 2 1/4 " - Rectangle Stitched Framelits
Watercolor Paper - 3 1/8" x 1 1/4"
Stamps - Fable Friends
Ink - StazOn Black, Balmy Blue, Soft Suede, Mossy Meadow, Crumb Cake, Flirty Flamingo
Except for the grass, everything else was colored with ink from the lid of the ink pads and my Aqua Painter.

Glad We're Friends
Have you ever seen the show Dr. K's Exotic Animal ER? It runs on the National Geographic channel on Sunday's. Well, the reason I ask is we watch it all the time and recently there was a lady who had a pet squirrel (not recommended, of course) and this little squirrel needed surgery. He really was a cute little guy, so when I saw this squirrel in the Fable Friends stamp set, I just knew I had to make this card!
Stamps: Fable Friends
Ink: Memento Black
Stampin' Blends: Daffodil Delight, Soft Suede, Granny Apple Green, Night of Navy
Recipe:
I popped up the rectangle laters with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Thank you for looking in today! It's MONDAY again... and we're expecting rain late this evening and into Tuesday and Wednesday. I love the rain, so no complaints from me!
