Quick and Easy Cards
Don't you just love it when things come together quickly and easily and can be used for multiple purposes. Using the Happy Watercolor stamps you can quickly "color" just about any flowers or images and end up with something beautiful. How about stamping up a bunch of these and have them ready for any purpose and then stamping the sentiment on when you need a simply beautiful card?
Stamps Well With Others Recipe:
Card Stock: Wisteria Wonder, Wild Wasabi, Whisper White
Ink: Wisteria Wonder, Wild Wasabi, Black StazOn
Stamps: Simply Sketched (Hostess Set), Happy Watercolor (w-133188 / c-133191), Express Yourself (Hostess Set)
As you can see, two of the sets are Hostess Sets, only available by hosting a workshop. Did you know, you can even have a workshop without cleaning your house and having to make snacks? That's right, how about having an online Catalog Workshop - perfect for those who love a great deal, without the stress.
Maybe you have some Christmas Cash burning a hole in your pocket, how about spending it on some fun creative stamps and beautiful papers. As a matter of fact, for $99, you could purchase a starter kit (you choose $125 worth of product) for only $99 (plus tax) and then you can purchase all your Stampin' Up needs for a 20% discount! Click HERE for more information. I'd love to have you on my team!

Happy Stamping!

My Paper Pumpkin - December 2013
Here it is! Finally, My Paper Pumpkin - December 2013 Kit. It arrived just before Christmas, but with all the festivities to get ready for, I had to put it aside and wait for some quiet time to open it and see what was inside!
This month's kit is a cute journal to put together however you want. This only took minutes to put together, but will take as long as you need to make it into lifelong memories.
Each kit comes with everything you need (except adhesive) to make that month's project or set of cards (cat helper not included!)
This is Miss Kitty and she loves to be on the table helping me craft. She shred more than she helps, but that's okay, I give her the scraps to play with. LOL
Wouldn't you love to receive a fun filled surprise kit each month? If you would, it's very simple to do. If you sign up before the 10th of the month, your next shipment should be on the 15th of the month and should arrive shortly after that.
If you haven't signed up yet, I'd love it if you would sign up with me as your Stampin' Up Demonstrator (Donna Kish, Phoenix, AZ 85018). Please let me know if you do so I can send you a big thank you! Check out My Paper Pumpkin << click there!

You Make Me Happy
The tall one in the middle is Bobby - he's been best friends with my oldest son Billy (the one with his arms crossed) since high school. Billy will be 32 in February (YIKES!) and Robert, my baby, with the scary beard (lol) will be 28 a week after Billy's birthday. Where does the time go???
The shorty in the middle is me... They both outgrew me AGES ago! I sure love those boys, it would be nice to have more time with them, but they both have night shift hours and odd days off, so timing is tough. It just makes the time we do get together that much more special!
Christmas Day was quiet, just me and the hubby, so it was a day of pajama's and t-shirts resting and watching Christmas movies and taking a nice nap! Later though, I broke into my box of goodies that I was able to pre-order from the Occasions Catalog.
Finally a chance to play with my new stamps and papers!! So much fun!!
Here are a couple of very quick cards I made to share with you.

Thank You Mr. Brown
Just a little thank you for Mr. Brown (aka the UPS Santa, I mean, Delivery Guy) and a little thank you for the Mail Carrier. I don't think we have the same Mail Carrier all the time, so whoever delivers tomorrow wins the thank you!
Inside is a Peppermint Bark from AJ's and a Bellagio Hot Cocoa Mix, also from AJ's. We don't shop there often (the prices scare me!) but we were looking for something unique and I found these two little goodies that I thought would be nice.
The paper used is from my freebie box I received from Stampin' Up! with some beautiful retired papers.
The envelope is made with the Envelope Punch Board using the measurements for a 3 1/2" x 8 1/2" envelope. Perfect fit!
Wishing you a very Merry Christmas! Santa will be here soon!

Santa Gift Cards
Needing some last minute cards to put some gift cards into, I started searching my stash and really wanted something new. Then I looked at Lorri Heiling's blog and saw exactly what I wanted! Lorri is my upline and has some of the cutest things! That's why I fell in love with her blog years ago! Thanks Lorri!!
Super Simple! Die cut 3 (yes three) Real Red Santa Suits using the Top Note Bigz Die. Also lay a strip of Basic Black across the bottom of the die and cut again (for Santa's belt). Cut a strip of white and place down the middle. You could also cut it with the Top Note, I didn't this time, but will if I do it again.
I punched the belt using Curly Label (119851) and the 1" Square (124094). The buttons are punched with the 1/2" Circle (119869). I used multi-purpose glue on all of it so it would stay together nice and tight. Can't have Santa's buttons popping off!
Here's where the other two die cuts are used - on the inside. The 2nd one is kept whole and the 3rd one cut off the bottom third or so. Carefully place some multi-purpose glue just around the edges so your gift card will slide in. Attach the two cards together with a brad so the card will spin open.

That's it! Nice and simple. As you can see, I made two of them and it didn't take much time at all.
Have you received your Occasions Catalog yet? They should be arriving in your mailbox shortly if you are a regular customer of mine. If you do not currently have a Demonstrator, I'd be happy to send you one. Just send me an email with your information and I'll see that you receive one when I receive my shipment of extras.
There are some really adorable things in there - you won't want to miss it!
Thanks for looking in. One more week and it will be Christmas Eve! Yayyy!
