Are You Being Watched?

Do you ever feel like someone - or something - is watching you?  Well, maybe it's these two little guys.  Especially the one with the wonky eyes!  Then there's the one who's a tad crossed eyed - I don't think either can see you very well!

This card was so easy to make - really - you can do it very easily.  Here's how:

Start with a one-inch punch and punch out six little squares - preferably from a post-it note with a little of the sticky part in the square.

Take a Basic Black piece of card stock 4 1/4" x 3" then using your grid paper and a ruler, draw a line down the center at 1 1/2" and the other way at 2 1/8" (half way in the middle for both edges).

Place your one inch squares onto the Basic Black as shown below:

Then using your 1" punch line your punch up with the post-it's and punch out the squares.

Here is what you will have when you turn it over to the other side - without the lines.

Cut a piece of Basic Gray or Smoky Slate 4 1/8" x 2 7/8" to go behind the window.

Die cut your ghosts from Fun Fall Framelits (135856) and place them behind the window frame as desired.  I used Tombo Glue to attach so they won't move or come loose.

You will need to trim up the part of the ghost that hangs out.  Just flip it over once you have it attached and trim them up as needed.

Punch out a moon - I used Hello Honey and sponged it just a bit with Pumpkin Pie.  Attach it into the corner of your gray background.

Attach the frame and ghosts over the gray backing and add google eyes or you can stamp your eyes or punch them from perhaps the Owl Punch and Cupcake Punch.  I stamped the bats onto the moon from Holiday Home (135095).

Stamp the pumpkins from Fall Fest (135194) - and remember you can get Fall Fest and Fun Fall Framelits as a bundle (137628).  Die cut the pumpkins and attach them to the front.  I inked the pumpkins with Pumpkin Pie and then inked the stems with Early Espresso Stampin' Write Pen.

The Whisper White mat is cut at 5" x 3 3/4" and rounded with the corner punch from Project Life.  You can see from below that I popped the mat and the window frame with Dimensionals.

Lots of Thanks

I spotted this cute idea on Susan Itell's blog a couple of weeks ago and fell in love with the look.  I changed up the ribbon and guessed on the measurements, but I like how it came out.

This is so easy to do.  I started with what I had on hand for ribbon - in this case Strawberry Slush Thick Bakers Twine (135637).

Then I grabbed some Strawberry Slush card stock (131295), Strawberry Slush Ink (131178), Whisper White card stock (100730) and Back to Black DSP (133700).  Start with a card base of 8 1/2" x 11" cut to 5 1/2" x 4 1/4".

The DSP and Whisper White card stock are cut at 2 5/8" x 4".  That would be half of the 5 1/4" that would normally be the cut size I would use if that was a whole piece (5 1/4" x 4")

Stamp your sentiment, back it with a mat and add a sweet little bow!

For these cards I used Lots of Thanks (w-129687 / c-129690)

BOO! Fun Fall Framelits

These had to be the FASTEST cards I've ever made, that actually were worth sharing.  So many times I make something FAST and end up hating it.  Not these... I think they are adorable (if Halloween can be adorable, of course!)

This is so simple:  Start with an 8 1/2" x 11" - cut in half at 5 1/2" and then score both halves at 4 1/4".  Two bases ready to go.  Do it again and you have FOUR!

Then take a 3rd piece of 8 1/2" x 11" and cut it at 5 1/4" and again at 5 1/4".  You'll have a little piece left over - save it for whatever you need~  Then turn and cut each piece down to 4".  This gives you FOUR tops.

Take the tops (the 5 1/4" x 4") to your Big Shot along with your Fun Fall Framelits Dies (135856) and laying two of them together, center your ghost framelit where you want it and run it through the Big Shot following the Big Shot instructions.

Stamp your sentiments and bats on the cut-out tops.  This one uses the BOO! and the Bats from the September Paper Pumpkin.

Boo to You comes from the EXCLUSIVE Good Greetings Hostess set (ask me how you can earn it for free!) as does the Trick or Treat.  Both stamped in Pumpkin Pie - of course!

I added some googly eyes that I had from last Halloween and then using Stampin' Dimensionals placed along the edges of the ghost and in from the edges of the card stock and centered it over the card base.

Happy Friday!!!

Tiny Treats Times Two

Have you seen the cute little Tiny Treat Boxes (135829) from the Holiday Mini Catalog?  They are so cute and such a great deal - 25 boxes for $6.95.

I placed two of them together back to back to make a double treat holder and decorated it with Motley Monsters Designer Series Paper (135819) and White and Tangerine Tango Two-Tone Trim (135838).  Say that fast three times!

I used the Fun Fall Framelits (135856) to cut out an adorable ghost.  Don't forget to bundle the Framelits with Fall Fest (137628) photopolymer stamp set for even more fun images!

The HAPPY HALLOWEEN comes from And Many More (w-134273 / c-134276) from the Annual Catalog and punched it out with the Large Oval punch (119855) from Whisper White and the Scallop Oval (119856) from Tangerine Tango.

Fill it with your favorite treats and you're all set for a great little table gift or place setting, or maybe for those special Trick-or-Treaters that come to your door!

Thank you for looking in today.  It's Friday-Eve... almost the weekend!!
