Springtime Foils with Stampin' Blends

If you are waiting for later to check out the Springtime Foils, don't wait too long.  These papers are absolutely gorgeous!!  Besides, they are FREE with a $50.00 purchase during Sale-a-bration which ends the end of March, 2018, so don't wait!

Add some Stampin' Blends colors - you don't even have to know how to do any fancy coloring -  simply color it in and it will be beautiful.  I only used the Dark Pink Pirouette, but I did go over some areas twice which darkened it up a bit.  Same with the Rich Razzleberry (below), but I only used the Light Rich Razzleberry.

I'm CASEing this idea from Patty Bennett, but I changed up my coloring and the ribbon.  It was just too pretty not to play with.  On Patty's she only colored one flower and left the rest white and it was pretty, but I wanted more color so I colored it all.  Dark Pink Pirouette for the flowers and Light Old Olive for the leaves.

The dots and the outlines on this paper is copper and it is just so much more beautiful in real life.

Inside I added a bit of the Springtime Foils leftovers.

Recipe:
Pink Pirouette - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Springtime Foils DSP - 5 1/4" x 4"
Pink Pirouette - Die Cut with Layering Circles (scallop)
Whisper White (inside) - 5 1/4" x 4"
Whisper White 1/4" Organza Ribbon

I enjoyed making the first one so much, I had to make another!  Here it is again in Sweet Sugarplum cardstock, but coloring with Stampin' Blends - Light Rich Razzleberry and Light Old Olive.  Also changed is the ribbon to 3/8" Metallic Edge Ribbon in Berry Burst.

Look at the beautiful shine!

Thank you for looking in today!  Happy Monday and Team Meeting Day!  I'll do my best to post something tonight for tomorrow morning, depending on how late I'm out with the girls!  :)

All Things Thanks

I was in a coloring mood Wednesday night, so I pulled out my Petal Passion Designer Series Paper and found one to color with my Stampin' Blends.  I used Old Olive and Pink Pirouette.  Since the paper is a bit busy, I wanted a nice big greeting to go on the front so I chose Thanks for Everything from All Things Thanks.

It is stamped on Whisper White with Memento Black and die cut with Stitched Shapes and a scalloped mat in Basic Black from Layering Ovals.

Recipe:
Basic Black - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Old Olive - 5 1/4" x 4"
Petal Passion DSP - 5" x 3 3/4"

Quick and simple.

Inside - Whisper White - 5 1/4" x 4" and another stamp from All Thing Thanks.

Thank you for looking in today.  It's "Friday Eve".  Yay!!

Christmas in the Making

If you were to choose an era to live in as an adult, what would you pick?  I think I'd like to live in the 50's and 60's.  Granted I was born in 1959, and grew up in the 60's, but as a child.  Like in Peggy Sue Got Married.  Quiet family neighborhoods and starting a family your best friends living all around in the same neighborhood.

That's what I think of when I see this cute stamp set, Christmas in the making.  I could do without the heels around the house, but perhaps she's waiting for guests to arrive for a party!

Above Recipe:
Whisper White Thick Cardstock - 8 1/2" x 5 1/4", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Real Red - 5 1/8" x 3 7/8"
Whisper White - 4 3/4" x 3 1/2"

Below Recipe:
Whisper White Thick Cardstock - 8 1/2" x 5 1/4", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Real Red - 5 1/4" x 4"
Whisper White - 5 1/8" x 3 7/8"

Which do you prefer and why?  I know which one I like best, but I'd love to hear from you.

Happy Saturday, Number 2....That's how it seems to me since I had today off for Veteran's Day and all day it seemed like today was Saturday.  Now I get a real Saturday!
