March 2020 Swap Card

I tried to post this for Wednesday and the computer just wasn't having it and I wasn't in a mood to fight with the computer.  I can't win those battles most of the time.  HA!

This was my swap card for our team meeting on Monday.  When I saw the sentiments in Thanks for the Laughs, I knew exactly how I wanted to use them!

Recipe:

Poppy Parade - 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 2 1/8" and 6 3/8"
Whisper White - 1 7/8" x 5 1/4"
Peaceful Poppies - 1 5/8" x 5"
Whisper White - 4" x 5 1/4" (inside panel)

Whisper White - 3/4" x 2 1/2" (for sentiment)
Poppy Parade - 7/8" x 2 5/8"

Whisper White - 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" die cut with Stitched Shapes circles
Poppy Parade - 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" die cut with Stitched Shapes scallop

Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon - about 16"

Isn't this just too cute?  We all have friends that at least one of you was the "bad influence", right?

Thank you for looking in today.

Cozy Craft Swap Card

I made 32 of these!  I think that's the largest quantity of one card I've ever made.  Granted, it was just a card front, so that saved on cardstock by a LOT.

This was for our card swap at the Cozy Craft Retreat.  We only needed 29 of them, but 32 is divisible by 4 (4 per piece of card stock) so I just rounded up.

Recipe:
Whisper White Thick cardstock - 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
Cherry Cobbler - 3 3/4" x 5"
Whisper White - 3 1/2" x 4 3/4"

Stamps:  God's Peace
Ink: Memento Black
Stampin' Blends: Cherry Cobbler Combo, Old Olive Combo, Petal Pink (candle), Daffodil Delight, Mango Melody.

I punched opposite corners with the Detailed Trio Punch

After coloring, I added Wink of Stella around the flame.

June 2019 Swap Cards

Sorry Kids, this girl is dragging so I'm sharing two more cards from our Team Swaps from June.

The card that Sandi made included a couple of greetings to choose from so we could attach that to the upper left corner.  I love the soft look of leather this card has.  I wish you could see it in person!

This pretty card using the Free as a Bird stamps.  Easy stamping and just some light coloring and you've got a beautiful card to share!

Thank you for looking in today.  Thank goodness it's Friday, hopefully I can find some gumption this weekend!

Happy Friday!

Swap Becomes Workshop Card

Big thanks to my upline Lorri Heiling for her beautiful swap card this past week.  I loved it so much I wanted my Saturday workshop gals to be able to make it also.  They loved it AND they discovered they can paint and make beautiful birds too!

I made a few changes, just for ease of cutting and prepping for the class, but the basics are the same.  Lorri's card is on the left (as you look at the picture).  The one on the right is mine.

My Recipe:
Petal Pink - 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
Whisper White - 4" x 5 1/4" - embossed with the Subtle 3D Embossing folder (currently not available for order)
Petal Pink - 3" x 8 1/2, scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper  2 3/4" x 4"
Petal Pink - 3" x 3" (after die cut with Layering Squares scallop)
Shimmery White - 2 5/8" x 2 5/8" (after die cut with Stitched Shapes Square)

Stamp the birds on the branch from the Free as a Bird stamp set with Memento Black and allow to dry completely.  I painted the birds with ink inside the lid of my ink pads and my Aqua Painter.  You can also use the Blender Pens with ink if you prefer.  Color the birds with So Saffron, Pool Party and a little Soft Suede.  The flowers are Calypso Coral, the leaves Old Olive and the branch Soft Suede.

Inside the sentiment is stamped with Memento Black and the leaves were stamped off once inked with Wild Wasabi.  I just wanted them to be a light stamp.

Thank you for looking in today.  Can you believe it's MONDAY again!?  Where does the time go?

Sharing Swaps

Since my evenings are dedicated to working on getting ready for this weekend's workshop, I thought I would share a couple of the swaps from our team meeting on Monday.  My apologies for the glare on them sometimes.  Since there are usually 20 or so of us swapping, instead of making 20 swaps, we only make 10 and then swap with 10 randomly selected others.  Since I don't get all of them to take home, I have to take pictures while I'm at the meeting, thus, the glare.

You all know how much I love these adorable cows!  Here is one made by Chris from our weSTAMP team with two of these cuties!

This one is from Marie who is on my Stamps Well With Others Team.  I just knew this was hers because her team name is the Daisy Stampers!  We both love the daisies.

Thank you for looking in today~  Happy Thursday!
