Party Puffins

These little Party Puffins are just so cute!  Along with the perfect black and white designs on the Designer Series Paper that you can earn for free as a Hostess!  Pattern Party DSP is bright and beautiful as well as some great black and white designs.  Check it out below.

On to today's card.  This is one of the cards we made this last weekend at our FIRST Workshop since the COVID shutdown.  It was SO nice to get together with friends again.  

Recipe:  

• Basic Black - 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
• Pattern Party Designer Series Paper - 4" x 5 1/4"
• Pattern Party Designer Series Paper - 3 1/2" x 4 3/4"
• Basic White - 2 1/2" x 3 5/8" - die cut with Stitched So Sweetly Dies
• Basic White - Stitched Rectangles
• Basic White - 4" x 5 1/4" - inside panel

• Stamps - Party Puffins
• Inks - Basic Black, Pool Party (or if for a girl, pick your favorite pink shades)
• Blends - Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight, Pool Party

To get the BEST coverage for your puffin, I recommend using the Stamparatus so you can ink the little guy more than once and still have the stamp "stamped" in the exact same location!  This is especially helpful if you need to re-ink your Basic Black ink pad... hey, do you need to get a re-inker?  Add that to your list!

Hydrangea Thanks!

This beautiful Designer Series Paper is one of my favorites.  The spring colors are so perfect for a new fresh season.  The tricky part is spelling Hydrangea!  

I made four cards with this paper, two of them are thank you cards and two are birthday cards.

Recipe:

Highland Heather - 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"

Seaside Spray - 4" x 5 1/4"

Hydrangea Hill Designer Series Paper - 3 3/4" x 5"

Basic White - 3 3/4" x 5" (inside panel)

Hydrangea DSP - 1" x 3 3/4" (leftover from trimming the DSP to fit on the front)

Basic White scrap for sentiment - cut with Stitched So Sweetly dies

Gorgeous Grape - Sheer Ribbon

Pastel Pearls

Approaching Perfect Background

Do you realize that Sale-a-bration will be over at the end of February?  That is next Sunday, so less than a week away!  One of the best sets is the Approaching Perfect set.  So many uses for it and you can even make a great background with some of the stamps placed together on one block!

At first I attempted to stamp on the individual 4" x 5 1/4" pieces but found the edges had a tendency to be missed, so I decided to stamp a full size 8 1/2" x 11" and then cut it down.  Perfect!

Then I placed them onto my base of Gorgeous Grape and added the ribbon in a variety of ways.

Inside I decorated with the cute little balloon stamp.
