Multipurpose Chef

Wait!  I bet you think you received the wrong email or the wrong page on the blog... but you didn't.  This is a NEW card that looks the same as yesterday, but this one is a Thank You card.

Isn't that fun?  I really love the chef making icing sentiments, so I thought I would do a couple more.

Recipe:
Whisper White - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Real Red - 5 1/4" x 4"
Whisper White - 5" x 3 3/4"
Designer Series Paper (DSP) - Pick a Pattern - 5" x 1 1/2"

Stamps:  Birthday Delivery, One Big Meaning
Ink:  Real Red, Memento Black
Stampin' Write Marker - Real Red
Stampin' Blend Alcohol Marker - Ivory (for skin)
Stampin' Blend Alcohol Marker - Dark Smoky Slate for Mustache and Hair
Stampin' Blend Alcohol Marker - Light Pool Party (used in the bottom pictures for shading)

After I took the pictures for posting, I thought about adding a little more.  It is really hard to see in the picture below but I used the Light Pool Party Stampin' Blends pen on all the shadowing areas.  It looks much better in person though.

Thank you for looking in today.  Let's start the week off with a big smile!

Birthday Delivery Bundle

Before we begin with today's card, I want to share with you that the Daisy Delight Bundle is back in stock!!  Order it quick before they are sold out again.  Hopefully that won't happen any time soon, but why chance it!

You can use the hostess code for my August Hostess, Kathy, if you like.  3UYP2XPG  Click HERE to order now.  If you have an order over $150.00, then don't use this hostess code, but instead, collect your own Stampin' Rewards!  If you have questions, please ask!

NOW, on to today's card.

This has to be one of my all time favorite bundles.  Most of our bundles are two items, while this one is three.  Stamps:  Birthday Delivery; Paper:  Birthday Memories Designer Series Paper (DSP); Framelits Dies:  Birthday Friends.

Each of the stamps in the set (except sentiments) has a Framelit that will cut it out.  Some of the Framelits even cut out images from the DSP!  I love that!

Recipe:
Night of Navy - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Birthday Memories DSP (red layer) - 5 1/4" x 4"

Night of Navy (under balloons) - 3 7/8" x 2 7/8"
Birthday Memories DSP (balloons) - 3 3/4" x 2 3/4"

Night of Navy (under white) - 3 1/8" x 2 5/8"
Whisper White - 3" x 2 1/2"

The Birthday Cake was cut out with a Framelits Die from this suite's Designer Series Paper.  So easy to do.  It is popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Inside I added a couple more of the little critters from the DSP.  I hadn't planned to put them there, but my fingers decided to smudge and the little Squirrel covered it perfectly.  Then, he wanted a friend, so Mr. Turtle joined him, just for fun!

Aren't they just adorable?  So adorable, that I had to place another order today to make more cards!

Thank you for looking in today.

Poodle Skirt Blast from the Past

You are simply going to FLIP when you see this card.  I only wish I could take credit for it.  It is SO STINKIN' CUTE!!

The idea comes from Bernadette Baio who shared the card - plus others - with Dawn Olchefske who posted it on facebook.

Check this out!

Recipe:
Whisper White Thick cardstock - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
Mambo Melon - begin with 5 1/2" x 4" (cutting instructions below)

Basic Black - 3/4" x 2 1/8" (to be trimmed as needed)
Basic Black - Cut with Stitched Shapes - smallest square

Using a sharp blade, cut two slits for the strip to weave through.

For the first one I left the belt straight across the way Bernadette did.  I think it defines a more defined waist.  Silly me, on the 2nd one I trimmed the belt to match the skirt and really don't like it.  Trial and Error, right?

The birthday sentiment comes from Butterfly Basics.  The Pearl and Rhinestones are from the old "style" before they were "reconfigured" them this year, which makes it much easier to make the cute leash.

A Special Thank You to Bernadette Baio and to Dawn Olchefske for sharing this fabulous card!  I'm still giddy about how cute it is!

Thank you for looking in today!  Happy Thursday!

Hip Hip Hooray!

More packets of this Birthday Memories Designer Series Paper are going on my next order.  It is just so full of great images that can be used over and over!

Today's card is a card we'll be making at Linda's workshop on Saturday.  I cased it from Brian King because I loved the great Primary Colors and how well they come together.  The girls on Saturday will have the option of choosing whatever critter they choose to fussy cut or die cut from the pack of DSP.

Recipe:
Real Red - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Birthday Memories DSP - 5 1/4" x 4"
Pacific Point 4 1/2" x 1"
Real Red 3 3/4" x 1"
Stitched Shapes Circle - 3" diameter

Inside:
Whisper White - 5 1/4" x 4"

Inside a nice big Happy Birthday from Birthday Delivery, part of the fabulous bundle with this set.

Thank you for looking in today!  It's FINALLY Friday!
