Tea and Cookies - Round Two

Now that my Aunt has received a package that I mailed to her, I can share this with the rest of you.  I would have shared sooner, but she peeks in here and I didn't want to spoil her surprise!

She is a part of a book club that meets once a month and while I was searching for Christmas poems to go with the cookies and tea packets I made, I ran across one that mentioned a cup of tea and a good book and my mind started racing!

So here is what I came up with and wrote my own little poem for inside!

These were made with all the same measurements as my original post HERE. 

The changes, of course are the colors, DSP (Designer Series Paper) and the stamps.  The tea and the cookies are the same.

Stamp a Stash November 2019

Stamp a Stash with Let It Snow Specialty Designer Series Paper!  This was so fast and easy and so much fun!  Check out that happy little snowman singing Joy to the World!

While the card assembly was fast, the snowman snipping took a little time, but I think the results were worth it.

Recipe:
Real Red - 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Let it Snow DSP - die cut with Stitched Rectangles 2 5/8" x 4"
Whisper White - die cut with Stitched Rectangles 2 1/4" x 3 5/8"

Fast and Frosty

Look how beautiful these cards are and they are so fast and easy to make! 

Start with Feels Like Frost 6" x 6" Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP).  Cut off 2 1/4" inches off of one of the photo sides that has the least amount of decoration - this will be used on the flap of your envelope.

The remainder of the paper should be 3 3/4" x 6" so you will want to cut 1" off of the 6" side.  You'll now have a piece of DSP that is 3 3/4" x 5".  

Recipe:
Whisper White Thick Card Stock - 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" scored and folded at 4 1/4" OR you can cut your cardstock 4 1/4" x 11", scored and folded at 5 1/2"
Cardstock to Match DSP - I used Night of Navy, Pacific Point and Pretty Peacock in these three cards - 4" x 5 1/4"

Pretty in Plaid

Here's another beautiful card from the Cozy Craft Retreat.  Gosh I was still there crafting, it was so much fun!

I don't have this card with me as it is packed for Saturday's workshop, but I want to say the colors are Cherry Cobbler and Shaded Spruce with Gold Foil and Wrapped in Plaid Designer Series Papers.

The stamps are from Itty Bitty Christmas and the punch is Pine Tree Punch - all from the 2019 Holiday Catalog.

Remember to save the tree you punched out to go inside!

Itty Bitty Christmas Tree

I really like this fun card.  It was fast and easy and didn't have to be perfectly placed.  A little unbalance makes it more creative.

Recipe:
Very Vanilla - 4 1/4" x 11", scored and folded at 5 1/2"
Cherry Cobbler - 4" x 5 1/4" - embossed with Subtles 3D embossing folder
Very Vanilla - enough to stamp all the sentiments
Early Espresso - 1/8" x 5" (apx.) for tree trunk
5/8" Burlap Ribbon - 2 inches then trimmed to make a "tree planter"
3/16" Braided Linen Trim - tied into a bow 

Stamp selected sentiments from Itty Bitty Christmas.  Cut into strips and then trim to different lengths to shape into a tree.

Think how pretty this would be using Mossy Meadow instead of the Cherry Cobbler, or mixing them together!
