Color Cards and Cinco de Mayo Workshop

Check out this great cardstock sampler we made at our Team Meeting last Monday.  A big Thank You to Jennie P. for cutting all those little strips of cardstock and bagging them in to cute little separate packets for a group of 25 stampers.  All we had to do was glue them onto the Whisper White "bookmark" sized sheets.

The actual Whisper White pieces were actually a bit wider, so when I got home I trimmed them down to fit in the bookmark sleeves I use each year.  I really like being able to see the actual cardstock colors instead in the catalog.

Here are some pictures of Saturday's workshop we held at Kathy's House.  Kathy, I can't thank you enough for letting us use your beautiful home!

It was Cinco de Mayo, so we had the appropriate food fare.  Linda made fabulous chicken enchilada casserole and made a batch of taco meat.  I made a big salad (to go with the taco meat) with chopped lettuce, grape tomatoes, scallions, olives, cheese and crushed up Doritos.  It was Yummy!  Mary even found us proper dessert.  The best Churros I've ever tasted.

Thank you for looking in today!  Have a Blessed Sunday!

Workshop Variety

I wanted to share the great variety of stamping creativity from Saturday's workshop.  These top two used some of my retired ribbon.  One of my favorite ribbons!  I just love the dotted ribbon from years ago.  To see the originals of today's card click here MOM CARD

This one is Kristi's card:

 Tina's card:

Here is Kathy and her card which was switched up at this table to be "WOW" instead of MOM.  Great idea for a "You Did It!" card or "Congratulations!"

This card was by Sue - I think she started the "Wow" design.  Way to go Sue!

And this one by Patti with a completely different look:

This is a fabulous picture of Mary.  She was still working on hers, but I just had to share her picture.

Details found here for BUTTERFLY CARD

Mary's Butterfly Card:

Kristi's with Silver Thread instead of Gold

Tina added some extra Perfect Plum with a sponge dauber.

Thank you for looking in today.  I hope you have a wonderful Sunday and if you are celebrating Mother's Day, may you have a memorable day with family!

Fun With Friends

Saturday was a fun day with stamping friends at Kathy's workshop.  We even had a new (to us) stamper, Nicole.

Kathy and Nicole

Here are three of Nicole's cards.  I love how she changed up the tag on the birthday card so it was turned portrait style instead of landscape.  Also, since I had some extra kits made up, the girls were able to make two cards so she made her second teacup card into a tea-riffic card!

Below are Patti, Sue and Linda working on their cards.

Kathy's Workshop

Another fun workshop on Saturday in Kathy's beautiful home.  I've declared all future workshops will be at Kathy's!  It was so much fun and she really fed us well.  Yummy chili and cornbread, perfect for fall weather.  Although our two days of fall weather were Thursday and Friday.  Saturday was back to gorgeous 70 degrees and sunshine.

Look at the cute chalkboard greeting she had for us when we arrived.  So much fun!

Here are the girls for today - Patti, Ida, Mary F., Mary P., Kristi and Kathy.

This lady knows how to decorate!   Even the tea came in an adorable pumpkin!

This was Ida's first time stamping with us.  I think her snowman card came out great, don't you?

Our second card was made with the Delicate Ornament Thinlits Dies with Red Glimmer paper.  They are so pretty, but oh boy, there was a LOT of little pieces to poke out!  It was a good time for visiting and laughing.

Thank you Kathy, you  had a fabulous workshop party!

Thank you for looking in today.  Have a Blessed Sunday!

Saturday's Workshop - Chimney Delivery

Saturday's workshop was fun a crowded table of six.  It may have  been elbow to elbow, but we had a great time visiting and chatting while we crafted.  Well, looks like two of them were visiting with others on their phones, I hope they weren't talking to each other that way!  LOL

Left to Right:  Alyssa, Brittney, Berta (our hostess today!), Mary, Daisy and Marie.

Peeking over Berta's shoulder as she's coloring her chimney for Santa to come down.

Here is one of the cards we made today.  This one was made by Brittney.  See how she colored the packages?  She colored them with the lighter shade of Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler Blendabilities and then made her stripes and dots with a darker shade.  Comes out really nice, don't you think?

Berta and Mary working on their chimney's.  I just love this stamp set!  So versatile.

Thank you for looking in today.  Tomorrow I'll share a couple of cards Brittney and Alyssa made after the others left.  They both had cards that needed made and what better time to craft while already here and everything is available!

Happy Sunday!

Workshop Fun

No post of anything I made today, but instead here are some pictures from Saturday's workshop.  A small group but with online orders and a couple through email, Mary's workshop earned her TONS of free product.  I love it when my Hostesses can earn everything they want and more!  During Sale-a-Bration, Hostesses earn an additional $30 free product with a qualifying order!  Woo hooo!

I first made this card at my upline's Regional we had last weekend and just fell so in love with it and knew the girls would love it too.

This one was made by Mary Fontes (today's Hostess) and I loved how she added the sweet little heart inside as it will be going to her Grandson.  Love the heart for love, but it also passes as a great tongue!  The Tangerine Tango button looks great too.

From left to right:  Linda, Kristi, Marie, Mary.

Here's Marie's Gator.  She used a green button.

Here's Linda's card, still in progress.  You'll notice Linda has her favorite things surrounding her.  A bowl of chocolate (which was empty when she arrived, so I quickly had to fill that baby up!) and her Starbucks Very Berry Hibiscus.  My favorite also!

Another Starbucks Junkie - we all love our Starbucks!

And of course our helper, Kitten.  She just has to be in the middle of it all.  Bless her heart, she loves to stretch out and enjoys craft time as much as we do.

Thank you for looking in today.  May you have a Blessed Sunday.

Brittney's Workshop

Saturday we had a great gathering for Brittney's workshop.  I'd say it was very successful and Brittney's friends helped her reach her goal of earning a Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine!  Woo Hoo!  Thanks ladies, it was great having you over to the house for some stamping fun.

Above we have (l - r around the table) Brittney, Berta, Kristi and Mary.  They all know when I have my camera anymore and won't look up... I'm going to have to get creative.

Here we have (l-r again) Marie, Barbie, Mary and Melanie.  This was Melanie's first time at a workshop!

Can you say Wish List?  This one is pretty big and it even goes over to the back side!

And last but not least, Brittney' furbaby, Maggie.  Brit couldn't move without the white one following her everywhere!  She's a good dog though and makes a good foot warmer in the winter.

Today's projects are below.  We made the card on the right with Chocolate Chip rather than the one with Rich Razzleberry.  I like them both though.

We also made this adorable baby bottle card.  I posted this in an early blog post, but wanted to post it here too as today's project.

Thanks for looking in.  Hope you had a fabulous weekend.
