I'm so excited, July 1st is almost here and the 2011-2012 Stampin' Up! Catalog will be released. It seemed like this time would never get here and now it's here and I still don't have my wish list ready to place my order, so many choices!
This past year has gone by so quickly and this will be my 2nd official catalog release since joining June 1, 2010.
Remember...ordering begins at NOON (mountain time) July 1st, at which time you may place an order via my online store or by contacting me directly via email (StampsWellWithOthers@gmail.com).
Thanks for your support!

Snow Much Fun
Ok, yes, I know it's summertime and in Phoenix Arizona, it's REALLY summertime with temperatures in the triple digits and no sign of cooling off any time soon. BUT, what better way to cool off than to play in the snow making a snowman or two.
This adorable snowman comes from the 2011-12 Idea Book and Catalog, available July 1st. Snow Much Fun (122560 wood) (122562 clear) is one of my favorite winter sets in the new catalog. I can see a lot of fun things to do with this one and I'm sure you will too.
I stamped him on Whisper White cardstock with Island Indigo ink and colored him in with a blender pen and the ink from the top of my ink pads. Colors used are Lucky Limeade, Marina Mist, Basic Black, Calypso Coral and Real Red. Layered on Island Indigo and Pool Party which was punched with the Eyelet Border Punch (119853) and then onto a base card of Whisper White. I used a glue pen and added "snow" aka Dazzling Diamonds glitter on top of his hat, arms, and carrot nose.
Thanks for stopping in. I hope to have some more things made this weekend so I can start posting more often. Soon, but not soon enough, we'll be able to start ordering from the new catalog and I can hardly wait!!!
Have a great weekend!

New Catalog Survival Kit and Bookmark
This is my 2nd year for the New Catalog Release and subsequent Survival Kit and I really like how it turned out. Last year's was in a ziplock bag... LOL. This year I had purchased some of the tin boxes on clearance from SU! and they are perfect for my kits.
The bookmark idea came from Francis from our Team Meeting swap last weekend. What a great way to showcase the new In Color colors as well as giving your customers a reminder of you whenever they see it. On the back I added my own label with my name, my SU! website address and phone number. Thank you Francis for the great idea!

Each of my customers who have pre-ordered a 2011-12 Idea Book and Catalog will receive a bookmark to keep their place in their new catalog!
Have a great weekend everyone!

Team Meeting Swap Cards
Today is my June Team Meeting with my upline and here are the two cards I'll be swapping. Special thanks to Linda for helping me with these after yesterday's workshop. It was so nice to have such good help and just fun to be able to create with a friend! Thanks Linda!
This one is one of the cards we did at my workshop yesterday. It's a 3 x 3 card using "On the Grow" from the summer mini. It's stamped in Perfect Plum and then using ink from the lid of the ink pad and a blender pen, gently colored with Perfect Plum and Certainly Celery on the leaves. In look so much prettier in real life as there is also Dazzling Diamonds on the centers of the flowers. The DD is added by a touch of a glue pen and then sprinkling on the DD and shaking off the excess. Colors used, Pefect Plum, Bashful Blue, Whisper White and Certainly Celery.
Thanks for peeking in... more sneak peeks to come in the coming days!

My 2nd card is perfect for the summer heat that's working its way into Phoenix. Everyone loves ice cream, right? The cardstock is Pumpkin Pie, So Saffron and Whisper White. The DSP is "Just Add Cake" from the soon to be released 2011-2012 Idea Book and Catalog. I love this paper from this DSP, can you tell, since I used it in the last sneak peek... lol.
The "ice cream" is punched using the cupcake punch with Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla and Regal Rose. The cherry is Real Red. The "cone" is one of the stamps from Pennant Parade from the New IBC. That set is so versatile, I know you're going to LOVE IT!

Array of Sunshine - Sneak Peek
Here's another Sneak Peek for you... this set is a set that will only be available to hostesses.
Card base is Daffodil Delight, DSP is Just Add Cake (available July 1st). I stamped the flowers "Array of Sunshine" with Tangerine Tango and the leaf - also from "Array of Sunshine" with Wild Wasabi embossing powder and cut them out - I know you all love to cut these little things out! haha!
The sentiment stamp is from Hodgepodge Happiness - retiring June 30th and punched it with the Designer Label Punch - also retiring June 30th and not to be confused with the Decorative Label Punch which is still available! The ribbon is from the clearance rack but was the only one I had that worked with this card.

That's all there is for today... besides it's way past bedtime!
See you tomorrow with another sneak peek...

A Little Sneak Peek
I received my box of pre-order items yesterday and finally had a little time tonight to make a sneak peek card for you. I wish I had time to do more, but I've got our big "Last Chance" Party this weekend (which I can hardly wait for!!!)
I got the idea for this card from Vicki B. on It's a Stamp Thing. It's not exactly like hers as I didn't have the same paper or ribbon, but it is the same sketch basics.
The card base is Crumb Cake layered with Baja Breeze and stamped on Very Vanilla. The ribbon is actually Marina Mist and it actually goes decent with the Baja Breeze.
The stamp set - which you will be seeing in the 2011-12 Idea Book and Catalog is called Cherish Friendships (122882). I really love this set and I think you will too. I stamped the image with Staz On black and painted with the aqua painter and ink pads.
Watch for more sneak peeks in the future!
