Sweet and Joyful

Here is another cute gingerbread tag card.  This little guy is so cute, I think he's going to be on a lot of Christmas cards this year.

Recipe:

Real Red - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Crumb Cake - 5 1/4" x 4"
Candy Cane Lane Designer Series Paper - I simply used scrap strips, so any measurement will do.
Whisper White - 2" x 4" - punched with Scallop Tag Topper
Linen Thread

Thank you for looking in today.  Happy Hump Day!

More Than Chocolate

While playing with my Jar of Love and Balloon Builders stamps the thought of Malted Milk Balls popped into my head.  So I decided to pop some into the jars!

I stamped them with Chocolate Chip and Soft Suede using the two round stamps from Balloon Builders.  Then I started thinking of what I would put with them and found my Lovely Amazing You stamp set.  With fingers crossed I looked in my Stampin' Up! store and find the set is still available.  The set is not in the Annual Catalog, but you can still order it.  Yayyy!

Recipe:

Chocolate Chip 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Whisper White 5 1/4" x 4"
Regals Designer Series Paper Stripes (Chocolate Chip) 4" x 1 1/2"

Stamp the jars with Memento Black and then fill them with "malted milk balls".  You could also make them colors instead, maybe all red for Cinnamon Balls, or other favorite round candy.  Of course you'd need a different stamp to go with it, since it's not CHOCOLATE!  ha ha ha

Inside I stamped "You're So Sweet" from Mixed Drinks.  Those were the words I wanted, so I was so happy to find them in this set!

Pop up the jars with Stampin' Dimensionals, add a bow from Jar of Love and you're all set!

I've Got My Eyes On You

Eye, err... I spotted this idea somewhere and simply had to play with it.  Once I found where I tucked away my little googly eyes, I was on a roll!.

I just knew the Sheltering Tree tree would be perfect and I think it turned out pretty well.  I already have a couple more ideas in my head to make this a little differently.

Recipe:
Pumpkin Pie - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Smoky Slate - cut with largest scallop circle (after I stamped the tree)
DSP - Halloween Night 5 1/4" x 2" - (available September 1st)

Stamps:
Sheltering Tree
Glamper Greetings - (available September 1st)
Jar of Haunts - (available September 1st)
Ink: Memento Black

Eyeballs - from your favorite craft outlet.

Here's a close up so Eye Can See You!

This week could be hit and miss as far as me posting to my blog.  I'll do the best I can.  Our Primary Election is August 30th and working for the County Elections Department, I'll have a couple of busy weeks.  Keep checking in though... I love to hear from you, so please feel free to leave a comment for me!

Sweetness Overload

Aren't these little guys sweet!?  So much fun to stamp and punch and make a whole string of them.

Recipe:

Real Red - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Crumb Cake - 5 1/4" x 4"
Candy Cane Lane DSP - 5 1/4" x 2"
Candy Cane Lane DSP - 5 1/4" x 3/4"
Whisper White - for stamping gingerbread and sentiment
5/8" Burlap Ribbon - about 6 inches

I popped up the Crumb Cake layer (with the DSP on top) and I popped up the sentiment and gingerbread cookies with Stampin' Dimensionals.

The cookies are stamped with Soft Suede.

Thank you for looking in.  Have a Blessed Sunday!

Cookie Cutter Reindeer

I've been wanting to play with this set again this week so finally I did!  One of my favorite stamp sets in the Holiday Mini is Cookie-Cutter Christmas and it is a bundle with a perfect little cookie cutter punch!

Remember the Teddy Bear Thank You from earlier this week - well this is from the same set. This time though, I used the punch to cut out this adorable reindeer.

Recipe:
Whisper White - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Real Red - 5 1/2" x 2 1/2"
Candy Cane Lane Designer Series Paper - 5 1/2" x 2 1/4" - available September 1st

For the sentiment, I used Wondrous Wreath, happily carried over into the Annual Catalog.

Here is what the stamp looks like, out of the package... but... I needed something for the front and something for inside.

Before you scroll further, take a deep breath... this is going to make some of you hyperventilate.  Trust me, I've seen it happen.

Deep breath in.... breathe out.....

Okay, here goes...

Are you still with me?  Good!!  Now, the best part about photopolymer, besides being able to see through it is when you cut it apart (yes, it's okay, give it a try) you can place it back together on a clear block and your stamping will never show it!

I tried several variations on the coloring and ended up stamping the reindeer with Soft Suede onto watercolor paper and then watercoloring with my Aqua Painter and the ink from inside the lid of the stamp pads - Soft Suede and Crumb Cake.

Thank you for looking in today.  Happy Saturday!

Fast Phrases

I think these two cards had to be the fastest cards i've ever made and I think they came out beautifully.

It took longer to put the Rhinestone Jewels on than anything else!

Recipe:
Night of Navy - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Soft Sky - 5 1/4" x 4 (inside and out)
Night of Navy Ink

Simply decide how much room you need at the bottom for your sentiment.  The two long ones that come with the Floral Phrases stamp set works perfectly.

Add some jewels to give a little bling.

Stamp the inside sentiment and you're DONE!

Well, not quite done... don't forget to stamp the back with one of these great new stamps available until the end of next May.  I love this set!

Thank you for looking in today!  Have a Fabulous Friday and an even better weekend!
