Grateful Heart

When I saw this on LeeAnn Greff's blog, I knew I had to try it and make it with a couple of changes.  Plus, since there weren't any instructions as it's a class she's doing, I had to wing it.

I began with Very Vanilla (8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored at 4 1/4") for the card base and Soft Suede (5 1/4" x 4") for the layer.  The "moon" is cut from the Circles Collection Framelits.  Not the largest circle, but the next to the largest.  I numbered mine from the smallest size out so it's #8 in my set.  I used Hello Honey card stock and used Tangelo Twist to sponge on some color.

The card stock behind the window is Very Vanilla 3 1/4" x 2 1/2".  I stamped the tree with the pumpkins from Happy Scenes and then colored the pumpkins with my Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Markers.  I used our Sponge Daubers with Tangelo Twist and So Saffron to add a little "sunset" on the horizon.

The window is attached directly to the Very Vanilla and then the whole thing is popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Oh, and yes, I stamped the pumpkins and some falling leaves onto the Soft Suede and also the pumpkins onto Tangelo Twist and fussy cut them out.  Whew!  I like how it came out though, don't you?

Thank you for looking in today!

Autumn Wishes

The Woodland Textured Impressions Embossing Folder is so awesome!  It is great for fall, Halloween, winter, Christmas and so many other projects.  I just love it!  Plus, it comes as a bundle with Among the Branches stamp set!

In today's card I used it with Whisper White cardstock and then carefully sponged the raised trunks with some Soft Suede.

The leaves are from Among the Branches stamp set as is the Autumn Wishes.  I stamped the leaves in Old Olive, Tangerine Tango and Delightful Dijon.

The Old Olive strip covers "& tasty dishes" which would be fine if  you were giving a food treat with this card, but since it's just the card, I decided to cover it up instead.

Which one do you prefer?  The one on the Old Olive card base or the Crumb Cake base?  I'd love to hear what you think.

Thank  you for looking in today.  Happy Thursday!
