Seasonal Chums Lolli's

On Saturday, I'm going to be helping a bunch of people make some Christmas Cards!  Patty who is one of my customers loves making cards with different groups for church and other charity organizations.  So tomorrow, SHE is in charge and has done all (or most) of the prep work with her sister and I get to be the helper!

Since they are making Christmas Cards, I decided to make some little Christmas treats for them.  Here is the cute snowman from Seasonal Chums.  I recently bought a bag of those basic little flat suckers we used to love as kids, so I thought this would be a good use for some for some of them.

Aren't they cute?  I tried a couple of them with Smoky Slate for the hat, but it just didn't look right, so the rest of them are Basic Black.  The hatband stands out better with the Slate, but the Black seems to be more traditional.

Have a wonderful Saturday and thank you for looking in today!

Pieces and Parts

At our team meeting on Monday, we each received a packet as shown below.  Some may have had different shapes for the Star, or different Designer Series Paper, but the base was all the same.  We were to each bring a Christmas Stamp Set.

Ready, set, Go!  Here is my card.  Simple, but cutting that thin mat of Real Red, really made it pop!

Here is the board display with everyone's contributions.  You should be able to click on the picture and it will make them bigger and easier to see.  Can you find mine?

It's finally Friday!  Have a great weekend!

Another Fun Treat Bag

These little 2" x 8" Cellophane Bags are just the right size for small treats and the holidays are a great time for using them for so many things.  You may remember the one I shared HERE with sunflower seeds.  This one is way sweeter... if you dare to eat. (mwah ha ha ha!)

Eat at your own risk of course!

I stamped the pumpkin on Shimmery White Paper, though you can't really see it in the pictures and then used our Watercolor Pencils and Blender Pens.  See the backside of the pumpkin?  So cute!

Thank you for looking in today.  The weekend is almost here!  Two more days (counting today, of course!)

My September Swap

I had planned to get this posted ahead of time so it would post Tuesday morning and well, you know how the "best laid plans" go.  They don't!  So, here it is now... a day later.

Can  you tell how much I love this little piggy?  She or her sisters are going to be popping up all year I think!

Recipe:

Basic Black - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4" (although, for the swap this is just the front of the card, not a whole card).
Spooky Night Designer Series Paper - 5 1/4" x 4"
Basic Black - 3 1/8" x 3 1/8"
Spooky Night DSP (the tree) - 3" x 3"

The piggy is Pink Pirouette and then sponged lightly with Blushing Bride.

The pumpkins and hat are also from the Spooky Night Designer Series Paper and the Sentiment is from Spooky Cat.

If I were to make more of these, I would add a Black Rhinestone to piggy's hat.

Thank you for looking in today.  Sorry I missed Tuesday!  Come back for more swaps and fun projects.

Happy Hump Day!
