How We Roll

Earlier I was looking at a couple of videos of some really cool looking travel trailers and it got me thinking about Glamper Greetings and making a quick card using it.

I was so happy to see the Glamper Greetings stamp set carry over into the 2017-2018 Annual Catalog.  It is such a cute set and so many things to do with it.

Recipe:
Old Olive - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
So Saffron - 5 1/4" x 4"
Whisper White - 5 1/8" x 3 7/8"
Delightful Daisy DSP (available June 1, 2017) 3 7/8" x 2 1/2"
The piece I used is from the same piece of paper, just showing the front and the back.
So Saffron - 4 1/8" x 3 1/8"
Whisper White - 4" x 3"

Inside I stamped the sun and some flowers from the same stamp set.  The flowers I colored  with my new 2017 - 2019 In Color Stampin' Write Markers.

Thank you for looking in today!  Happy Friday Eve... the weekend is almost here!

Holiday Carry Over

Did you know this cute little Glamper Greetings stamp set is a carry-over from the 2016 Holiday Mini?  I did, but I forgot so when I saw Brian King using it, I thought, "oh my, I have to get that back out and play with it some more!"

To see all the items that have carried over from the 2016 Holiday Catalog, click HERE.

Recipe for today's card:

Island Indigo - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"  (same measurements for the base in white)
Sahara Sand - 5" x 3 3/4"
Blooms and Bliss Designer Series Paper (DSP) - 3 3/4" x 2"
Sahara Sand Mat - 4 1/8" x 3 1/8" (white based card uses Island Indigo Mat - 4 1/8" x 2 7/8")
Whisper White - 4" x 3"  - (white based card = 4" x 2 3/4")

Stamp the trailer with Island Indigo and then stamp the "lines" of the trailer with Soft Sky.  The pie in the window, I think it would be an apple pie, is stamped with Soft Suede.

Oh dear, I just realized I didn't stamp any grass under the white based card.  I'll do that later.  I used Garden Green for the other card.

Thank you for looking in today.  Here we go starting a new week!  Yay Monday!?

Halloween Night DSP

Before I begin with today's cards, I want to take a minute to share some sad news from Arizona.  On Thursday, September 15, 2016, Arizona's first female Secretary of State (1977 to 1988) and then first female Governor (1988-1991), Rose Mofford, passed away.  She was a calming force at a time when Arizona needed it most.  She will be missed.

This was one of my favorite photo's of her.   Rest in Peace.

Today's card is CASE'd from Angie Juda.  From time to time she sends out some great instructions for making a fun card.  Thanks Angie!  I love your ideas.

This first card I cased pretty much as she did it, although there are a couple of measurement changes because I wanted to change the picture size with the house.  Mine is a little less horizontally because there was part of a tree hanging over that looked odd.

Recipe:
Pumpkin Pie - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Basic Black - 5 1/4" x 2 3/4" and 4" x 2"and 3 1/2" x 2 3/4"
Striped Halloween Night DSP - 5" x 2 1/2"
Grid Halloween Night DSP - 3 3/4" x 1 1/4"
Haunted House Halloween Night DSP - 3 1/4" x 2" and 3 1/4" x 1/2" (brick side)

Stamp sentiment from Glamper Greetings across the brick DSP
Attach DSP pieces to their coordinating Basic Black Layers
Add White Perfect Accents as desired.

So for my 2nd card, I turned the card up portrait style and I flipped the striped DSP over to show the cute bats instead.

Here they are together.  Easy to do and very little stamping!

Don't forget to place a  piece of Whisper White inside for writing.  Standard inside size is 5 1/4" x 4"

Thank you for looking in today!  Happy Friday!  ~ Donna

I've Got My Eyes On You

Eye, err... I spotted this idea somewhere and simply had to play with it.  Once I found where I tucked away my little googly eyes, I was on a roll!.

I just knew the Sheltering Tree tree would be perfect and I think it turned out pretty well.  I already have a couple more ideas in my head to make this a little differently.

Recipe:
Pumpkin Pie - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Smoky Slate - cut with largest scallop circle (after I stamped the tree)
DSP - Halloween Night 5 1/4" x 2" - (available September 1st)

Stamps:
Sheltering Tree
Glamper Greetings - (available September 1st)
Jar of Haunts - (available September 1st)
Ink: Memento Black

Eyeballs - from your favorite craft outlet.

Here's a close up so Eye Can See You!
