Ran Out of Ribbon!

I rarely run out of ribbon because I forget to use it most of the time!  But that's not true today, I'm so sad I ran out of my Petal Pink Organdy Striped Ribbon!

I was planning for a very small Stamp-a-Stash for Friday night and when I pulled out the ribbon there was enough for three cards.  Ugh!  So, each person will get to make one and I have my sample.

Recipe:
Petal Pink - 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Old Olive - 3 1/4" x 5 1/2"
Best Dressed Designer Series Paper - 3" x 5 1/4"
Whisper White scraps for Sentiment

Stamps:  Dressed to Impress
Ink:  Old Olive

Below is what the Stamp-a-Stash cards the way we made them with Whisper White Bakers Twine.  No sentiments on my samples so I can use them later for whatever I need.

I'm going to miss this beautiful paper so much!

(ooooh I just noticed this one isn't centered! LOL)

Thank you for looking in today!  Happy Saturday!

Witty-cisms for Everything

I'm working my way through pieces and parts of my Designer Series Papers.  This one is an old one, but it was perfect because I could use it with multiple color backgrounds.

These are great to make up ahead of time, except for the stamping (and adding to the square of 3" x 3").   Then when you need a card with this stamp set or any other, the square is big enough to manage just about anything.  Stamp it up, add it to the 3" x 3" and your done!

Recipe:
Whisper White Thick cardstock - 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4
Whisper White - 4" x 5 1/4" - embossed with Tufted folder
Cardstock (your choice) 1 3/4" x 5"
Designer Series Paper (your choice) 1 1/2" x 4 3/4"
Cardstock (same choice as above) 3" x 3"
Whisper White - 2 3/4" x 2 3/4"

Stamps:  Witty-cisms
Ink: Memento Black
Stampin' Blends:  Crumb Cake, Smoky Slate, Old Olive, Petal Pink,

Thank you for looking in today!  (this should have posted at midnight, but I missed the scheduling, so posting it now!)

Happy Friday!!

Stamp a Stash for Friends

Here is another card we made at our Stamp a Stash this weekend.  So easy and so beautiful and can be made ahead without a sentiment so that just the right sentiment can be added when needed.

Recipe:
Whisper White Thick Cardstock - 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Soft Suede - 4" x 5 1/4"
Whisper White - 3 3/4" x 5"

Stamps - Healing Hugs, Love What You Do
Ink:  Rococo Rose, Mossy Meadow, Memento Black

Start by stamping the rose onto a post it note with as much sticky under the stamp as possible.  I recommend stamping the post it with a color OTHER than the one you plan to use on the card.  This will make it easier to see when using the post it as a mask.  Cut out the rose from the post it with your paper snips.

Stamp the rose onto the lower corner of the Whisper White - I used Rococo Rose, let it dry and then place the post it over the stamped rose, but don't cover the rose exactly.  Move the post it down just a tad, maybe 1/16th to 1/8th of an inch.  Then when you stamp the leaves, there won't be a blank edge.  Trust me, you'll want to do this for perfect stamping!

Thank you for looking in today!  Have a Blessed Sunday!
